B&B il Duca d'Amalfi

It was in a good location . I liked having a balcony The beds are hard. To call the food they had a breakfast is a stretch. It was horrible. All prepackaged and open community access cookies which were stale. I could not find any coffee.

breakfast is miserable ( spongy croissants, dubious coffee machine), no chair in the room and no garbage bin.

The shower was very cramped. The water also leaked onto the tiles from the shower.

The location was perfect and the apartment was clean, renovated and we were offered a mini buffet breakfast. -

Great location in old town walkable to ports, train station and restaurants and shops Bed is very hard. Lack of English speaking staff available to assist with questions to visit in the area, taxi arrangements etc.

Location and view Breakfast. We expected more for “breakfast included” then wrapped croissants and old cookies. Milk was ok. Coffee was almost impossible to make

Great location near the center of Salerno. Walking distance to the ferry and train stations. Located in a pedestrianized area. Air conditioning worked great and kept the unit comfortable. Amazing view of both the city and the sea, plus a shared balcony and kitchen space. Don't expect a full breakfast... the only provided options were pre-packaged processed sweets and some juice. We would have appreciated some fruit or a protein-rich option to make it a real breakfast.

The location was convenient and close to many restaurants. The bed and sheets were uncomfortable, the shower doors do not close completely. We only saw breakfast one morning which was only a few jugs of milk and some cereal containers. Our AC stopped working at one point and the manager was able to have it fixed. The property was misleading in that it the photos made the space appear more spacious and modern than it is- the kitchen is shared which we were unaware of.

The location and hospitality was great. Our room was extremely small and only good for one person but the host let us use the other room for the night. It does get loud in the morning as the cleaners arrive early and also there is no AC in the living space! Recommended if you only need a place to sleep for the night and not linger during the day. Early morning noise.

Beautiful place, wonderful view!

The B&B's location, view, and host were all terrific. The central location of the B&B is a bit of a double edged sword: the piazza below can be very noisy, even at night.

The room was basic, but clean. The view was good. Location is decent, about 15 min from the train station. The photos are misleading and suggest the kitchen/dining area is private, however it’s outside the actual room and shared with other rooms. The room itself was quite small.

Communication and instructions pre arrival were prompt and clear. Room was very clean, bed comfortable, air conditioning for heating. Ideal location. 2 free bottles of water in the room Only thing that could have been improved was availability of herbal teas/more coffee pods

Breakfast is with a voucher at cafe moments away - which works. There is a lot of to and fro about arrival times as owner is not on site at the property - no one is - but it works.

+ Taking in the vibes of the center from the balcony + The place is not big but they really make the most out of it with small details to ensure a comfortable stay for guests - Some noise from surrounding restaurants etc but at 2400 exactly it was quiet - For more than 1 night room might have felt a bit small
