Hotel Montestella

Really appreciated the responsive staff. We asked for ice a few different times and they were happy to comply. The breakfast setup was good and varied. Loved having the minifridge in the room. It would be helpful if ice was more readily available, e.g., a central ice machine. I know, I know, ice is such an American thing!

Great location, close to transportation, shopping, Lungomare.

Clean, well located, Temperature varied from really cold to warm was quite uncomfortable.

Great location! at most 10 min walk to the train station and same to the ferries (going to amalfi and etc). Lots of shops and places to eat around. Room was spacious and very very clean. To be honest cleanest I have ever seen. So cleaning service deserves a 5 star. Staff is very friendly and polite. Breakfast is very tasty and very filling. Nothing to complain about, was worth every penny.

The location was perfect.

Breakfast was excellent. Very modern finishes. Bathroom was very small, so much so that it was uncomfortable to use. But very clean and modern. Also, staff should have explained on check in that it was necessary to put the key in the slot inside the room to keep the lights working and adjust the thermostat.

The break fast was very suitable. Room was hot when we arrived and could not work the a/c because of restrictions. Had to consult the front desk and they did get it going for us.

I booked this hotel for its proximity to the train station as I was only staying one night. I booked a single bed room and although fine and quiet with window closed, it felt like a dorm room. Bathroom was fine and everything was immaculate. Nice breakfast and kind staff. It was a very good deal but you may want to book a larger room. I accept responsibility for booking the small room!a

The bed was hard as a rock. The room was incredibly small. The mini bar looks like it would be complementary drinks because there's no sign as to how much things are. But when you go to check out they charge you if you took a water bottle. Lack of storage for your clothing was awful. The hair dryer was like something from the 1920s. There was plastic lawn chairs in the room and on the patio the furniture was made out of shipping crates. It felt more like a dorm room than a hotel room.

Great location. Nice breakfast and facilities. The a/c was still in heat mode. So a bit stuffy in the room.

Very central, very nice staff, accommodating for my bicycle, excellent recommendation for dinner.

Modern clean rooms. Only small problem the A/C was not active and it took awhile for me to figure it out and ask them to turn it on but they did activate it as soon as I asked.

Price / quality ratio disappointing.

The receptionist was very professional and super friendly and her English was great. Not enough room for your luggage. The room itself was too small

My husband had a accident and we had to stay in Salerno for an extended time for him to recover. We booked a terrace room. The staff have been very kind and helpful. We would highly recommend the room. It has been perfect for our needs, with views of Salerno. The breakfast has many options and is always fresh. The staff keep the hotel and rooms spotless. We are fortunate to be able to stay here during the Holidays and a difficult time for us.
