Shower door was off hinge and there was no trash can for the room. My daughter and her husband stayed in another room their shower door could not close it had issues too.

Location only Poor Facilities, cleanses, service. Except location everything was bad.

I could get an espresso and croissant right out front of the lobby door. There are grocery stores and fruit stands and a laundry right nearby.. I really can’t say anything negative about the property. The property is on a very busy street, but I was not bothered by the noise in my room..

It was clean and modern. The staff are horrible, the only nice persons and semi is the ones who respond on booking. Other than that they make you pick the keys up at the cafe, the Italian woman is extremely rude, had 3 connections with her all 3 rude. The men who seem foreign are all respectful. Don’t stay if you want to rest, they have music all day, I thought morning wouldn’t be bad but music at the cafe was playing since idk 6/7, we didn’t get much sleep can’t tell. The soundproofing doesn’t work as they believe, it would help to ask their staff to lower the music for the sake of those staying.. We left a day earlier, without being rude or anything ti another place. Left my expensive hair treatment and when I went to ask for it the woman in the cafe was completely rude and just said “no, no, no” to me, with hand waves. Mind you I translated what I was going to say on my phone so they would understand me, so there wasn’t a language barrier. Customer service is below the ground.

Excellent location. The bed is also exceptionally comfortable. It’s more like an Airbnb than a hotel, with staff situated in the cafe below. The bathroom is in need of repair and further cleaning. There is a copious amount of mold in the shower. The sink faucet is broken and does not drain well. Not a clean bathroom overall. You can also expect cleaners to arrive early; 9-10am. There are no signs to signify when you need cleaning or do not disturb. They’ll come right into your unit as you are sleeping.

Perfect location about 200m from the train station and right in front the marina to access alll the boats to the Amalfi coast. A great coffee and restaurant just downstairs. The room is very clean and modern, so if you're looking to a base to explore the Amalfi coast, Paestum or Capri this is the place to be. nothing

This is as good as the location in Salerno can get. And that is the value for this place. Ferry terminal is right across from it. The train station is very close. The shopping street is right behind it. Plenty of parking available around even though very very expensive. I suggest you ask for parking from the staff in the cafe. They have a private parking available at a more reasonable price. This information was not communicated ahead of time so I found out after I parked in the expensive lot adjacent to the establishment. The problem here is that it rates itself as a 4-star. While the location is great and the staff (working in the cafe below and handling the check-in) were nice enough, the hotel is very basic and defiantly not a 4-star. I believe if the management correctly rate it as a 2.5- or 3-star. The expectations would be set correctly and the reviews would be more positive. That said, the staff that we encountered when we checked in at night, were very nice and accommodating. One carried our luggage up and explained everything in the room. Same experience at breakfast. I did not encounter the negative experiences some of the reviewers here had mentioned. They also provided daily maid service that even refilled the mini-fridges with complementary water. Cleanliness. While the room itself was pretty clean and modernly decorated, the bathrooms were very dirty. There were so much mold and water-deposit built-up in the shower stalls that it was as if they were not cleaned for years. The secondary shower had so much mildew that the floor corners had turned into yellowish color. My kids refused to take shower there. There was also a lack of communication from the staff pre-trip. I had asked about the parking beforehand but it was not clearly explained that I had to see the staff first before parking the car to take advantage of the private parking they have.

The breakfast was poor and the behavior from the staff of the bar ,really a disappointment.

Absolutely best location to access the Amalfi coast. Ferries are steps away. Best dining options are Pescheria (seafood obviously) and Porca Vacca for beef! What a steak! And wines! And service! Felt like a great Tuscan steakhouse. Get ferry tickets online ahead of time for the specific ferry you want. Line up early! Listen for the guy to yell "online tickets." Almost no one has them. DO NOT stay in Amalfi or Positano! Trust me. Just visit, swim, shop, have lunch and an aperitif but head back to Salerno for dinner and bed. Also, just a few steps from the train station (no taxi needed), nearby shopping and a laundromat. Could have been quieter on the weekend (just above the bar) but it eventually got quiet (by 11 pm).

Central location to shopping, waterfront, train station, and historic center. Disorganized. Arrival was wonky. We eventually figured out that we needed to go to the café in order to check in. The LOUD music!!! Not even a night club or bar, just a random speaker beneath our room. Posted to our room door were instructions to lower the outside window blinds and interior blinds in order to make the room "soundproof". Total BS!!! Would not recommend!!! Although clean the room was very dated...very disappointing. Do not be fooled by the pictures!

The proximity to the train station and the ports. Staff was good. Restaurant below has music going from about 7 am until midnight. Thin walls. If someone’s moving in the room next to you, you hear it. Some mold in the showers. Not the cleanest place. Construction at the property as well so our “sea view” was blocked by staging.

Great location. Super close to train station and close to the ferry dock (there are 2 though) and there cafe at the bottom. We asked and they said they had no iron! We had cute outfits to wear to the Positano and we could not iron them. Also one of the showers in our room was leaking a lot of water and it was leaking into our room. We had to put towels down on the floor each time we took a shower. We could hear people talking outside of our room even with the heavy blinds closed but it wasn’t super loud.

Dirty room. Disrepair of shower in our room. The locked door to our floor was broken, reported which went unrepaired. Salerno is a city to skip, as is this hotel.

The location, right in city center, on the beach, was great. We walked all over town, and took a boat ride to Amalfi just a few steps from our front door. The breakfast at the cafe on the ground floor was tasty and convenient. The facility was secure, and clean, with beautiful marble floors, nice decor and comfortable furnishings. We were happy to have a mini fridge to store some of our traveling food supply. The building was under renovation, and we could not see out the window due to scaffolding. The city noise at night (voices, music, traffic) lasted well past midnight, making 10 or 11 PM bedtime something we couldn't do. The shower was extremely small, difficult to keep the door shut and prevent leakage. The room itself was very small, with no good place to put our suitcases. We just had to leave them on the floor in a corner and try not to trip on them. Parking was difficult to figure out, and cost more than we expected.
