The property was in the perfect location - right in the heart of the old town. You get the whole private apartment to yourselves - a big bedroom with a view of the castle, living room and bathroom. Paolo was a wonderful host - he sent us so much information, found us parking for the week, gave us lists of things to do while we were there, recommended excellent restaurants, found us boat trips and even drove a 2 hour round trip when we managed to lock ourselves out! There are restaurants, coffee shops, excellent shopping and even a supermarket all 2 seconds from the door. If you’re looking to rent a car during your stay, as the apartment is in the old town you can’t park there due to restrictions - there is parking for €15 a day a 20 minute walk away which is actually a lovely walk each morning along the sea front!

A great stay! A nice apartment all to ourselves, in a great central location. Paolo and his wife were lovely hosts! Very friendly, helpful and accommodating, and gave lots of great recommendations for food and sight seeing.

Excellent accommodation for the price. Beautifully refurbished and spacious, with an excellent shower. Very clean. Tucked away from main roads, the accommodation is very quiet. There is aircon and a small fridge in the comfortable bedroom. Quirky artwork adds a personal touch. Paolo is a very welcoming host and provided information on things to do, places to visit and good restaurants. La Spagnola was an outstanding fish restaurant of high quality. Location is excellent in the historic centre with plenty of restaurants nearby. Also an easy train ride to Paestum and short bus or ferry to nearby Vietri sul Mare, a lovely village with its history of ceramics. Ferry also goes further afield è.g. to Maiori and Amalfi. Need to check in advance if the other bedroom will be occupied as that would presumably mean sharing the separate living space and bathroom area. Other than that, nothing to dislike!

Paolo was an amazing host, he was very accommodating and gave us some great recommendations for things to do/places to eat in Salerno. The property was very clean, with great facilities and an awesome location right in town & close to the beach.

A very modern, new apartment with amazing facilities ? The only thing missing was an iron.

Position at the very heart of the city, cleanliness and bathroom really big Stairs, maybe a coffee machine would be appreciated

The host was very friendly and kind in suggesting a ride from the train station (although it's within walking distance, and the way to the accommodation is an excellent shopping street that is clean and comfortable to walk on). He also gave us a tour as soon as we arrived and provided some tips and restaurant recommendations. The facility is located on the main street but completely silent with its sound-proof windows, which is lovely! It is newly renovated and finished, and everything in the facility is the same as written in the description. Not only that, our room was spacious and had a bright window to the Duomo. Also, I recommended that the host add photos of the bathroom because it was the most excellent one during our visit to the Naples-Salerno area. It was very clean, roomy, and equipped with everything. The host lives in another town, so you may want to check in during the afternoon rather than the evening. But still, he will kindly cooperate in other cases and will be available in case of an emergency.

Bedroom was very comfortable with excellent Aircon. Bathroom was spotless. Hosts were super helpful with information and tips. Location was fantastic. Maybe things like bottle opener would be nice to have in the shared living area. But being picky as it was all very comfortable.

Super modern, clean apartment with a lot of attention to (artistic) details. It even had plastic dishes & cutlery, a microwave, spare waste bags and 2 sets of towels per person. Overall very spacious, modern apartment in a great location.
