Good location, across from Conad grocery store, above excellent restaurant, walk to the beautiful duomo, and to town. A big disappointment—absentee hosts! Communicated via WhatsApp phone when we got to the building in evening (via taxi), fortunately our son knew Italian. The host said they were on vacation! He remotely let us into the bldg and suite where our 3-generation family stayed in 3 separate rooms. Only one key per room. Previous Booking guests raved about the hosts and the wonderful breakfast they prepared. We had no hosts, no breakfast. Instead the host told our son we could get free breakfast at the coffee/pastry bar across street. There we 4 adults were each allowed 1 pastry and one coffee of choice. The 2 children (5 and 11) were given2 small Nutella pastries and a bottle of water! The host requested our passports by email/text, counter to Italian regulations of in-person check-in! There was a little kitchen area with tables where we could snack on the packaged dry toast in the cupboard or make ourselves tea (provided). There was no coffee for the coffee machine. A previous guest mentioned stairs—we did not realize the “Casa” was up 4 flights. Difficult with luggage, more so for person with knee issues. Checkout was 10am. We stayed 3 nights and planned to leave exactly at 10. The cleaners arrived at 9 and stayed in the kitchen area chatting with each other until we left. We felt our family stay ended prematurely. Also one of the rooms (the Lux) has a glass wall for the bathroom so using it does not provide privacy. Also no reading lights in any of the bedrooms! This B&B did not live up to its description on Booking! We wish the host(s) had informed us that they would be absent!

The location was very good, very close to the old city and the Duomo. It is on 20 minutes by walk from the train station. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but a little bit noise at the evening. The breakfast was served at the close pasticceria and included coffee and croissant.

perfect central location in the historical part of Salerno. lovely , clean room. Very private. very professional , friendly hosts and a lovely breakfast every morning. nothing , everything was fine.

Great location, fantastic helpful staff, and best breakfast included! We liked everything. It is on the second floor and you need to carry your bags upstairs but we are fortunate that it was not a problem for us.

Everything, particularly the good taste of interior furnishing. The landlord served you for a nice breakfast. I enjoyed my stay very much even with zero level of Italian language skills. The location is a little bit far from the commercial main street, but its close to the Duomo, depending what you are looking for.

This was a fantastic place to stay in Salerno. I was there for a week and my room was lovely. The breakfasts were also really nice and the owners are super friendly and attentive. Communication was excellent throughout. The location was also fantastic - very near the Duomo and some brilliant bars and restaurants. Nothing - I would definitely stay here again when coming to Salerno!
