Everything was great except cold water in the shower. It would go extremely hot for a minute than ice cold, and it was like that all the time while we were on the property. It might be the building problem, not the owner but it was very annoying.

It was a little further than the train station than we had planned. the room was spacious and comfortable. The balcony was a bonus. Our host was very kind and knowledgeable about the area and was more than happy to help us with recommendations and even had a map to show us where to go. Distance from the train station was further than expected.

Comfortable, clean, easy to find Shower is a bit small, but I think this is normal in most b&bs in Italy

The property host Roberto was a great guy. Right from the beginning of our stay he was very attentive. He suggested us places to visit and restaurants to eat at during our stay in Salerno. Even though we had a shared bathroom, it was being cleaned regularly. The room equipped with an AC was very comfortable and thoroughly cleaned. We saw some reviews that the place is far from station which is incorrect partially. One can get off at Salerno Pastena station and from there the property is between 7-9 mins walk. Salerno Pastena is 7 mins by train to Salerno Central station with easy access to Amalfi, Positano, etc. The street near the accommodation was a shopping street and we could get stuff at much cheaper prices than in the more touristy areas of Salerno. It was also very quiet and we had a lot of privacy. There is also the possibility of leaving your luggage upon check out to go around in the city and getting it back later in the day of the checkout. Thank you Roberto for being kind. We will surely stay here again if we visit Salerno! -

Roberto was really kind and welcoming. The house very clean and well maintained. Breakfast provided was also very nice. Roberto also provided us with all the information about transport, restaurants and tourist attractions. It was a bit far from the station, and we had to walk a bit when buses were not frequent.

I recomand this place ?

The first thing we liked was Roberto, the owner. He picked us up at the train station, dropped us off at the ferry, and was super-helpful during the time of our stay. He provided us with lots of great advice and reference material. (Eat at Mea Culpa!) Also, it was in a part of Salerno that is outside the center, so it feels like a real neighborhood. There’s a Conad supermarket very close by, along with cafes and a little piazza. Our room had two balconies, and it was fun to watch the street life below. There is a nice beach — sandy, not rocky! — about four blocks away and the swimming was great. Finally the place is impeccably clean and well-maintained. We really enjoyed our time there! It wasn’t in the town center, which to us was fine, because the bus lines run frequently, and in central Salerno, it seemed like accommodations could be noisy and/or cramped, and much more expensive. Actually we liked everything at Piccolo Principe! It’s great value and we had a wonderful time there.

Fantastic stay! Roberto was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure our stay in Salerno was fantastic. He had excellent restaurant recommendations, helped us with our car, directed us to train stations, checked in. Truly a great experience. The room is comfortable, a nice size and in a great location to walk around Salerno. No negatives! Because of COVID we weren't able to try the breakfast.

Roberto gave us a very warm welcome, he was so kind and helpful. He made us feel very comfortable and pleasant after our long road trip to Salerno. Roberto showed us around and gave us a very good Pizza recommendation (Paradiso Pizza, also nice for take away). Parking was a small italian adventure but very good and safe :)
