B&B Lambda

We spent two unforgettable days at B&B Lambda, and it was truly one of the best accommodation experiences we’ve ever had. We were absolutely delighted not only by the property itself, but also by the incredible attitude of the host, Dario. Our trip started with a major force majeure: due to strikes in Italy, our train was canceled. Instead of the planned 17:00, we managed to get to Salerno only at 21:00, losing the whole day. Dario was in touch with us long before our arrival. When he found out about the delay, he was genuinely worried about us. Without any request from our side, he showed great empathy and offered to pick us up from the station and drive us to the apartments in his own car. Dario is an amazing guide. He explained in detail where to go, where to have a great meal, and gave us tips on sightseeing. We even changed our travel plans based on his advice, and we were absolutely right — his recommendations turned out to be much better than what we had originally planned! On top of that, he bought all the bus tickets for us in advance. As for the stay itself: the room was perfectly clean, fresh, and very cozy, equipped with everything you might need. Having asked about our preferences beforehand, Dario prepared a wonderful breakfast and treated us to delicious limoncello. On the check-out day, his hospitality completely blew us away. Knowing that we lost our first day due to the strike, he generously offered us to stay for another night free of charge! Unfortunately, we already had our return tickets booked and had to decline. But despite our departure being scheduled for 5:00 AM, Dario woke up with us at that early hour, made us breakfast, and called a taxi. Dario treated us with genuine warmth and care. This is not just a place to sleep; it’s an attitude you want to return to. I will definitely recommend this B&B to all my friends, and if I ever come to Salerno again, I will stay only with Dario. Cleanliness, friendly service

We had a great stay at B&B Lambda and our host Dario made us feel very welcome. His kindness and help in collecting from the station, providing recommendations on places to visit, local restaurants, directions, ticket and travel advice, made it easy to get the most out of each day exploring Salerno, Amalfi, Ravello, Naples, Pompeii and Paestum. Our room was lovely, very clean bright and comfortable, and we enjoyed breakfast trying different fresh pastries each day, all delicious! Thanks again Dario, we hope to return.

I had been in Salerno already for one week and found this place for the remaining two days I needed. Dario is a considerate host who seems genuinly happy to look out after his visitors. Location wise, it's a longer walk (25-40min) from the centre or a short bus trip with the bus stop just across the building where you can also get tickets. Some of the places in the city centre, although conveniently located in the historical centre, can be a bit noisy from the popular streets. At this place that wasn't the case. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Our host Dario was the most accommodating gentleman we have met in a long time. He helped us with the details and directions of our day adventures to Pompeii and Amalfi. Each morning we were greeted with delicious fresh pastries and cappuccino for our breakfast. We arrived as strangers but he made us feel like family. Salerno is a great place to stay if you prefer a less touristy accommodation but to close to “attractions” such as Amalfie Coast, Positano, Vesuvius , Pompeii. We traveled to Almalfi Coast by ferry and Pompeii by train. B&B Lambda is in a safe family neighborhood with easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Make sure Dario gives you the name of the best gelato shop in southern Italy. Zero we loved everything.

The BnB located in a strategic location with many good restaurants, convenience store, and pharmacy close by. Our room was large and spotless! We got great recommendations from our super host, Dario. He is very attentive to our needs and went extramiles to ensure we have a splendid holiday. Thank you so much Dario! I would recommend to anyone who visit Amalfi to have Salerno as homebase and definitely stay in Dario's place. Will be back for more. Arrivederci! None. Everything perfect!

Excellent service and a very nice and clean room.

The room is comfortable and clean. Especially, the owner, Dario, is a really nice person who treats us with great passions and patience. He well prepared our breakfast and also gave us a lot of suggestions when we plan our trips for Amalfi Coast. He even help us to buy the bus tickets. All in all, he is a really good person and love his job. We really appreciate him.

Dario was very nice and accommodating. He gave me directions to go to places and many recommendations. He made sure I had a comfortable stay in Salerno I enjoyed our conversations and time spent just hanging out. I have a lot of positive memories of Amalfi Coast staying at this B&B :-)

We had such an amazing stay here!! Dario was such an incredible host, so kind and friendly and really went out of his way to make sure we had a comfortable stay in his B&B. He gave us lots of really helpful recommendations for things to do in the area, great food recommendations and helped us get bus tickets to travel to Amalfi. The room itself was really lovely and clean and had air conditioning, with a spacious bathroom and lovely view from the balcony. The beach is less than 5 mins walk from the apartment which was really handy. Could not recommend enough! Everything was amazing.
