Yox Hotel Boutique

This is a very charming and sweet hotel. The rooms are small but well maintained and comfortable. Staff are helpful and kind. The location is perfect for exploring the city and is right next door to the language institute where I was taking classes. I was there in winter and it gets cold. Staff brought me a portable heater, which was helpful but I had a hard time getting comfortably warm. The breakfast option was good but limited. I would have enjoyed more options.

Great location but our room was tiny, virtually no room to move around if suitcases were being used. Breakfast for us was very mediocre, the staff not really engaging at all. That said, there were really no other faults. Front office staff at 1:30 am were more friendly than the breakfast staff and there were no other issues about the room or ordering a taxi for the next bus ride!

Good location, easy walk to anywhere you want to go. Friendly and accomodating staff, 24 hour reception a big plus for odd arrival or checkout times. The 5 star rating is very misleading and likely self-granted. While the place was good and good value for money, this was not a 5 star accommodation. The bathmats were all frayed, the light fittings dusty, the sofa covers were fraying too. There was a musty smell in the room. In addition the included breakfast was the worst we’ve had on our month-long trip. One piece of toast, 2 eggs, a dollop of beans and some pineapple jam every day. No variations, no garnishes, very basic. Choice of coffee or tea but no standard black tea, only herbal. No juice, no fruit - these could be purchased for additional cost, but frankly, the whole breakfast experience was very underwhelming.

The location and staff were lovely. Was so excited to have a bathtub in the room Odd room set up and bathroom was a little dirty in the shower and tub. Also you could hear everything from the room when people walked around the hallways

Yox Hotel Boutique is an amazing hotel. The room was very nice, clean and cozy. The people in the hotel well extremely nice and eager to help us with anything we needed. A nice simple breakfast is served every day. In terms of location the hotel is perfect, since it's just one road behind the main street of the town and it felt very safe to walk back to it every night.

The room is cold, the shower is cold, and you can hear everything from the room next to you
