Do like there and extended. The boy with braces at the reception helped me a lot, thanks so much!

Instead of hostel, more like botanical garden. Excellent staff, earnest and sweet. Handmade jam couldn’t be better!

Very friendly hostel, and you can't beat the price. Nice walking distance from many attractions in town. Love that breakfast was provided and the social atmosphere meant we were able to meet many friendly fellow travelers. They also have a place to park your car in the back since street parking is almost impossible. We stayed in 2 rooms. The first room was in the back by the street which was fairly noisy. The second room was closer to the front and well insulated from noise.

Checked me in at 6 in the morning even though It was only guaranteed from 14 pm, all sorts of activities all the time, sufficient water for everyone, and a very friendly vibe all around, people all talking, they have a locker with a lock for you, very very comfy bed and blankets, and patios that are so nice. Lacks heat in common areas but mostly because I did not think to bring warm clothes, and the shower heads are not so comfortable, but almost nothing really. Honestly best hostel I have ever been in, easily, like okay I have been in maybe only like 10 total, but this is miles above everything else that I have tried

Lovely hostel just on the outer edge of town. Everything was clean and staff was super helpful and friendly.

The woman from the reception, is super friendly and arrange a few tours for me! I would def. come back as they welcomed me super warm, and the pricing is super competitive. nothing.

So many cool and nice travellers and staff!

The feeling in Posada del Abuelito is that of staying with a welcoming and warm family in their beautiful Mexican villa. The kitchen and garden allow for shared experiences with other guests. The private rooms are really special.

A lot of space, friendly co-travelers, great breakfast (a lot better than expected), fully equipped shared kitched, best showers I had (lots of hot water) Nothing

Great location! I stayed here for a week and wished I could have stayed longer. Lovely people, cute garden, amazing breakfast included - eggs, beans, toast with homemade jam, cereal, tea and coffee. Fantastic value! My one critique is the hot water is minimal.

Interaction with other guests is exceptionally good. Excellent breakfast. Great organization of activities and touring options. Rooms/beds are kept clean and quiet. Love the staff There are multiple shared shiwers but the two main ones need better shower heads with better maintenance.

I think it's great for solo travelers if you take a bed in a dormitory but as a couple we took a private room which was quite basic. Everything is fine but I believe our expectations were a bit higher.

Also there are many places to sit back and relax

Great! Highly recommended

Beautiful courtyard and adobe structure. The pipes in the walls banged all night, making it impossible to sleep. This was very mysterious, as it didn’t occur during the day. There was also no hot water in the shower, despite there being hot water in the sink AND in the toilet!

Lots of space to relax, super friendly and helpful staff, great people staying there.

You can feel the love and care in every detail—from the way the space is kept so calm, clean, and beautiful, to the breakfast lovingly prepared each morning. I’m so grateful to Nili, Nancy, Diana, and the other wonderful people who make this place so special. Their kindness and attention create not just a hostel, but a home. I can’t wait to come back again and again!

Really nice hostel and staff. The breakfast is simple, but you get everything you need (fruit, eggs, coffee, etc). The location is pretty convenient too as it's just far enough from the center but close enough to walk to. They offer free parking as well. I would go there again for sure. The rooms don't have good soundproofing so we could hear a lot of shouting in the morning from the neighbors of the hostel and at night one could hear all the conversations in the room next to us. It didn't bother us, but a little soundproofing would make this place perfect.

The atmosphere at the hostel is a bit loud. The distance to the center of the town is more then 10 minutes away.

Great location, people, breakfast, staff, and facilities.
