Hotel Clariana

It was priced below $200 and I was able to park for two days at a great price. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the staff was attentive... Tina was a fabulous host! There was some downtown noise at night but with Fifa Soccer, a wrestling match, a Blues Festival, etc... I'll let that slide... If I need to stay a night again in San Jose I'll definitely consider Hotel Clariana. Thanks again, Tina!

Too loud and the room was hot

It was just too loud on weekends. I got about 2 hours of sleep each night. I won’t stay again.

this was ideal for me stayimg downtown in San Jose during world.cup 2026. would stay there again

I needed to check in early for my World Cup game and the staff accommodated me and were very gracious. Is in walking distance to San Pedro Square

Checked in at 5 pm. Lady giving parking pass had to go inside and check us in and let us in the main lobby before we officially checked in. Dusty bathroom fan. Dirty sheet so I just slept on top of them. We just slept there and checked out.

Hotel is dated in an older building. The location is great! Probably the best thing about the hotel. We were in town for a concert and walked to and from the SAP center. Maybe about a 15 minute walk or so. Lots of great bakeries and coffee shops along the way. There is parking available in the back of the hotel. It’s $20 to park overnight. I recommend it if you’ll be out and about all day and only plan on sleeping there. No real amenities available at the hotel.

Exceptional

There is a lot of vagrant in the area. Loud music from vehicles on the weekend. The hotel is on Santa Clara st. Which is a street used for cruising. I hope this helps. I most likely will not be staying there again. Too noisy.

Love it

The staff was very helpful with any issue we had. Since it is an older hotel, the elevator is slow. Our room was facing the street and there were no sound issues for us. The bathroom is large. We would stay here ona future trip to San Jose.

The staff is very kind and helpful. I check in very late and she willingly to help me check in at midnight and she also keeping my pre-sent packages as well

Didn’t do breakfast but staff was very friendly & attentive. Parking was great & convenient, perfect location in downtown & close to college
