Relais Villa Valfiore is set along Via Emilia, just a few km outside Bologna. It is surrounded by a centuries-old park and offers free Wi-Fi in all the rooms. The guy that checked us in was very nice Ac ,electric outlets , tv didn’t properly. In the morning when I went down to get a second towel for us, she was very rude saying they thought there was as only one person in the room. She finally gave me a towel.

Fantastic quiet place with great yards. parking is specious so there was no issue with cars. room was also large with a lot of storage space. overall experience was very positive, but best thing about the hotel is the Italian vibe.

The air conditioner and half of the electric sockets in the room, as well as the main control panel, were out of order. The hotel staff did not resolve the issues and, to be honest, did not put much effort into it. I had to remind them several times that the problem was still there, and we were still not ok with it, so they would try doing something. It was really hot in the room, so we had to find another hotel late in the night, which was not easy. The receptionist told us that they would cancel our reservation for free if we moved to another hotel, but the next day, despite this agreement, they charged us for one night. I tried contacting them via booking, but of course, nobody replied. After looking through the reviews more precisely, I suspect that the issue with this room and it's air conditioner exists at least from summer 2024, but they do not care.

The villa is very attractive and the breakfast was good. The landscape and grounds did not meet my expectations. The website shows the property In much better condition. They need to pay more attention to details.The accommodations were comfortable. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff were rude and not very accommodating.

Good value for money. Parking garage. Breakfast was good considering the price. It is definitely not a 4 star hotel anymore (probably was 10 years ago). It was clean in the room (not on the terasse), but in the details the room was quite old and not up for modern standards. However, value for money for our stay was good.

Breakfast was delicious. Location is very nice, big pool which is rare. Staff was very friendly and super helpful. Coffee at 6 am when we had to leave, couldn't ask for more ))

The hotel grounds were beautiful and the hotel itself was really tastefully furnished, creating a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The pool area was excellent - plenty of sun loungers in a stunning setting. The restaurant served wonderful food in the evenings and breakfast was great. The underground parking was also really useful.
