The location was easy to reach and the parking was close. In early September you could even park on the street if you wanted to. It's close to the touristy parts but not particularly close to the beach. The standard of the room was good and bed was relatively comfortable by Sicilian standards. Breakfast was OK but they didn't let you take even an apple out with you. There were pegs and a washing line on the balcony, we were able to wash and dry loads of our clothes. If you do go to San Vito lo Capo (which I wouldn't recommend) then you have to get the Cous Cous. Its famous for cous cous and the cous cous I tried was excellent. The hotel has a really strange setup. You have to be buzzed into the building, you can't leave the hotel without handing in your keys. Whenever we asked about this they would just say it's policy. That being said, most of the staff were very friendly. The balcony had a cover on it and was a little cramped with a view of the street, so we only used it to dry clothes. The hotel is probably much better in the season, we visited in September when they'd obviously downsized - for example, only one breakfast area and bar instead of two. Other hotels we've visited in Sicily gave us a bit of an introduction to the area and provided history, context and places to go. We didn't receive this here. Overall, I would not recommend visiting San Vito lo Capo, it feels like a fake, hollow, touristy place with no culture, just tourist shops, tourist restaurants and a big beach. If all you want are these basic things then you'll enjoy it but I found it be much worse than places like Cefalu, Palermo, Taormina, Naxos.

Fine location. -we had a late flight and the hotel had a shower that we could rent so we could be on the beach until we had to leave after booking out. - the room was not ventilated or cooled down when we arrived. it was extremely hot and stuffy. - View from balcony was zero, absolute nothing. - the hotel sold parking more expensive than it would have actually cost if I had paid directly to the parking lot.

Staff was very helpful and kind. The room was beautifully furnished and spacious and the location was really perfect and centric to facilitate access to services and the beach is very close. The service provided is environmental friendly and the hotel offers reusable beach towels service. There was also a small and nice balcony with a drying rack. Breakfast is served in a cozy area with homemade produce and cakes, with attention to allergies of guests. The bathroom was a bit too tiny and as we were three guests and we were assigned the room with eased access for people with disability we didn’t find it comfortable to use (the toilet seat was too high, to gain some space there was no bidet and we struggled in using the doors for the shower). At breakfast it would have been preferred to serve gluten free produce in single dose and packages to be very careful and really sure that there is no contamination.

The design, colours and furnishings were awful. We needed to upgrade from the first room we booked as it smelled of smoke.
