Sweet Dreams

The property we stayed in was new and nice. The breakfast was awesome. Very helpful with parking. Owner and son were nice. The location we stayed at is not the one we booked. This review is about the place we stayed and the experience we had. When we parked, I put the address in Google maps. on our way, they sent me another location to meet at. The owners son met us outside. We went in and he started to check us in. I asked him why we were checking here. He said they had to move us because we extended the stay, which we did not. I told him that and he initially said we did. Once again, I said we did not and that we didn’t want to stay there because it was 2 -3 blocks off the Main Street. He made a call, spoke for a few minutes and then said our room wasn’t available due to plumbing. This story was definitely made up. He took us to our room and it was on the 2nd floor on the back of the hotel. No balcony and no view which is what we paid for. I asked about that and they moved us to the 3rd floor and gave us access to the terrace across the hall. The problem here is we need to leave the room, cross the hall and go on the terrace. We had to lock our room. Not ideal unless both of us were out there at the same time, which doesn’t always happen. I asked for a discount but didn’t receive one.

WiFi was unusable, water was lukewarm.

My only complaint would be that it was a little difficult To communicate with the host. She responded quickly usually but a lot was lost or misunderstood in translation from English to Italian. Even when I used the translator to send messages. Not a big deal but caused some frustration on our part and also on hers.

Very close to beach and the centre with great choice of restaurants Struggled a bit to find the place as all streets are pedestrian. Finally understood that we left car in a special car park and then took a very efficient shuttle to/from our B & B

Shower water wasn’t hot. We booked a room with 2 beds and then told me they only had a double. When I called Booking.com the hotel then said they could add a bed to a room for us. They were knocking on our door at 9:50am when check out was at 10am.

Great accomodation for solo travelers. Central location, very close to the beach and fancy bars and restaurants. Clean, well-equipped and the cherry on top, a small balcony with a small portion of sea view. Totally reccomended.

Loved the location, decor, balcony and the breakfast was over the top. The host was very sweet and helpful.

The daily breakfast was out of this world !!! Yogurt with fresh fruit, eggs and ham, toast and many flavors of jam, excellent coffee or cappuccino topped off by a Sicilian sweet treat, extra toast and other goodies supplied. The Best we have found so far in our travels about Sicily in the past 8 years. Our second time staying at Sweet Dreams and looking forward to our next visit. The best location in town - a two minute or less walk to the beach and only a few more steps to the main restaurant and shopping area in town. One could spend the entire day roaming San Vito's shops, restaurants, boutiques, pastry & gelato shops with its never ending selection on every street, side street and alley in the town. NOTHING

Perfect location, walking distance to everything you need- beach, shops, restaurants and bus stop. The room was clean and had a lovely balcony with partial beach views. Delicious breakfast made fresh each day. Highly recommend a stay here. Not a negative but take note that breakfast is made for each guest, it’s not a buffet, so if you have dietary requirements let them know in advance. The host is only at the accommodation till 1pm so if you need anything from them, organise it before then.

Really amazing B&B in the heart of the town. So close to the beach and all the main restaurants and bars. The personal suite had a beautiful balcony. Breakfast was so lovely and you really felt at home. I cannot recommend it enough!

Very nice place well located, close to the beach and main central area. The breakfast was great, fresh products cooked by the host. The host were very welcoming. Check in until 13:00 with additional fee (10€) afterwards.
