We were so grateful to find this gem - a beautiful house with lots of charm, nestled between mountains with an ocean-view. We would highly recommend "Poggio Di Mare" and would love to come back again. You would need a car if you want to move around though, which we are very happy we had. The hosts welcomed us like family, meeting us with a big smile each morning. They prepared a great breakfast (made our preferred coffee and eggs each morning in addition to yoghurt, jams, fruits, freshly made bread and pastries) and were super helpful if we had any questions. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. We even enjoyed some aperitivos on the balcony in the afternoon and could store what we bought in the supermarket in a common fridge. Some tips from us: Bring your beach towels and an umbrella from the house and drive to the beach "Caletta del Blue Marino" (very close) to snorkel and relax in the turqoise ocean. Go for a winetasting/olive oil tasting at "Azienda Agricola Baglio Ingardia" (45 min drive). Visit Mediveal town "Erice" by car (45 min). There are also several amazing dinner places in Castelluzzo (walking distance by the house) - for example "Agriturismo Baglio Don Bartolo" & "Pizzeria Number One." If you love good food, happy hosts, charming and unique locations off the beaten track, but still close to the sea - this is for you. Nothing.

Absolutely, incredible stay. Generous, kind hosts, elegant, beautiful views, romantic, serene, cozy, exceptionally clean. Magical beaches nearby! Perfect in every way. We hope to return for longer! Sicily is fantastic and this place is truly the best!

Great BnB, the owner is super nice and helpful and really tries to make your stay enjoyable. We stayed only one night but would not have minded to stay longer. Would recommend !

One of the best B&B's I've seen in my life. A wonderful location, a wonderful house in a garden, a wonderful host. A very nice and rich breakfast. Couldn't be better.

It’s a lovely villa in a small village Castelluzzo not far from the seaside. I liked the authenticity of this place, the incredible breakfast terrace overlooking the sea. You will most likely have to drive here, there is also public transport, but it runs quite infrequently. 7 minutes drive from Castelluzzo you can find one of the best beaches on the island in the town of San Vido. San Vido is a tourist town with lots of bars and restaurants and good beach infrastructure. 30 minutes drive away is bigger city Trapani, lots of restaurants and bars, and beautiful architecture.

A wonderful place with a Sicilian atmosphere. We really enjoyed our few days stay. The house is very beautiful. Great breakfast on a beautiful terrace, with a wonderful panoramic view. The owners are very nice people. Thanks for the hospitality and advice!

Personal and friendly communication. Very good atmosphere. The owner has thought of everything. A wonderful view from the window, a beautiful garden and a cool terrace for breakfast. Very good breakfast prepared by the owner himself. It is easy to get there, there is a place for a car. Very quiet place, near the sea and restaurants. Various attractions and walking trails in nature are within easy reach.

This is a great place to stay. Our host Leonardo is very friendly and helpful. He spent time telling us about his family’s olive oil business and let us ask him so many questions and was in no hurry to cut our conversation short. He offered us bruschetta and beverages when we arrived. Our room was comfortable. Good WiFi. Nice breakfast buffet. Beautiful view of the surrounding area and located at the end of the road. Room for parking cars just outside of house. Extended our stay one extra day. Would definitely stay here again! That we couldn’t extend our stay longer!!

Regards to the Giovanni and Leonardo, cozy family environment, hearty breakfast with chirping birds in the morning on the terrace, what could be better :)

Lovely hosts, beautiful house, peaceful garden, clean room and a big terrace with a nice view. We sat here every morning for the good Sicilian breakfast and a chat with the owners and also in the evenings for a beer. For colder days, there is also plenty of space inside the house. Very good price. We were so happy that we found this place and would definitely come back any time!

This is a stunning villa both in atmosphere and location. We traveled all over Sicily and returned to this place because it is unforgettable! My husband said that in his entire life he had never seen such delicious sandwiches as they serve for breakfast here. But he is over 70 years old! -

Beautiful house in a quiet location, with a great view. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the hosts were wonderful, and breakfast was good. There is a fridge for guests to use, a large living room, and a nice terrace with views. The rooms were an incredibile value! Parking is easy and there's a very good restaurant a couple of blocks away. Everything was great!
