Close to the train station, and easy access when completing stage 25 of the Salzburger Almenweg. The staff is friendly and incredibly efficient. Clean room and private bathroom. Charming garden area. Good restaurant. Our room faced the road which was loud. Not much they can do about that, but something to be aware of when choosing a room. Also, there are no bug screens on the windows or balcony door, and the ceiling fan didn’t work. We tried leaving the windows open at night for some air flow but the mosquitoes took advantage and we had to shut them. With a fixed ceiling fan or screens it would be just fine.

Very nice hotel in a small quiet village. We spent one night here during our roadtrip and it was a good stop to relax. The room was clean and spacious as well as the bathroom. Breakfast was average, I wuould say, not too many things to choose from and we had to ask/wait for clean dishes. The restaurant right in the hotel was excellent on the other hand, very convenient to have it in the building after a long day on the hike/road. No problem with the free parking on the property, there was enough space. Breakfast was rather average (but all fresh, which is nice). There is a church right opposite the building and its bell rings every 15 minutes, even during the night. It is not at all the fault of the hotel, but be prepared for it especially if you are a light sleeper.

Traditional yet with modern touches, very nice and efficient staff, great atmosphere and best Schnitzel I've had in years. Will definitely come back and stay at the Gasthof Post, and keep enjoying the views on the mountains and the cute church from the confortable room.

Really lovely and attentive staff and great breakfast. Room with the view of the mountains, and our dog was allowed for a fee of 20EUR. Free parking was nice also. Missing a little storage space in the bathroom.

Good spacious and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff and good breakfast with freshly made eggs to order. Restaurant is also a good place for a dinner. Next to a quite busy road, though trafic is limited during the night. Pilots were really soft.
