⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredible Hospitality!Babil Antique Hotel is a beautiful historic gem in the perfect location near Balıklıgöl. The staff provided exceptional, warm service from start to finish, and the traditional breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommended for an authentic stay in Şanlıurfa!

Unfortunately, we were unable to start our trip. Although we were not entitled to a refund, the hotel kindly tried to accommodate us. The staff voluntarily offered us an alternative solution. Thank you very much for that. N/A

Great hospitality in original architecture.

Lovely breakfast with traditional local ingredients and preparations.

The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is located just a few minutes' walk from a variety of interesting sites, restaurants, shopping. The neighborhood of the hotel was clean, quiet, and itself interesting to walk through. It was not difficult at all to get from the airport to the hotel; and, although we ourselves had no occasion to use it, bus #63 stops just at the end of the street from the hotel itself. On the whole, everything was a very convenient and pleasurable experience. Göbeklitepe is fewer than 20 kilometers away and Harran not much farther than that. There is much more to see and experience, and we look forward to visiting again as soon as possible.

Babil Antique Hotel is a truly lovely place to stay in Urfa. It is run by a beautiful family who go out of their way to do all they can to make your stay comfortable. The central communal courtyard is set around a bubbling fountain with flowering plants and creepers. A very pleasant place to simply relax over a Turkish coffee of tea. Breakfast is typically Turkish - meaning, delicious and much too much! The room was huge with a comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge. Strong and reliable wifi in room and communal areas. It is down one of Urfa's narrow, picturesque laneways but taxis can still find you if you want to explore further. Walking distance to the main bus route and to the shopping district. The bathroom had a very stale smell.

A modernized old property in the heart of the old city. Staff were friendly and made sure that you have everything you need.

I absolutely loved every single thing about this fabulous place and the fabulous people that run it. I don’t think I’ve ever had better customer service and they do everything with passion and love! I consider my friends! Not only our magical and fantastic and traditional, and everything that you would think of visiting each, which I was but these wonderful people even arranged for someone to drive us to all the sites That are quite an accessible without much effort and delays if you bring your own car! I cannot begin to tell you how my heart is with love for that area, those people have fabulous hotel, and the time of my life! I am going to Gobekle Tepe, mountain Nemrut as well as other places off the beach like Karajan Tepe and Sayburc! Fabulous, their beautiful Muslim faith every day made this possible. I will share them in my heart forever. I cannot possibly recommend them any higher than I am as they are already at the summit of everything! NOTHING.

Breakfast was the best out of 4 hotels we had been through, fresh and tasty. Staff are truly warm, welcoming and lovely. The hotel is a really beautiful, ancient building in a really interesting area.
-
Beautifully restored old building in charming part of old town. Staff were very friendly. There were no dislikes, just things that could be better. the bathroom I had needed work. The fixtures were worn and the grout in need of replacing. The toilet lid could also use replacing.

The breakfast included provided more than enough food for two and was delicious! Please note that the hotel will send you directions to the parking area. Follow them! We didn't and caused them a headache as we were trying to navigate the very narrow streets. They found us and carried our luggage while guiding us to the entry. There is a very pleasant courtyard in the hotel. The solitude is very calming. Note: If you can't climb stairs, please book a ground floor room. I'm sure you will enjoy comfortable accommodations in any room at this hotel. If I return to Urfa, I will stay here again!

I must give special mention to the breakfast—it is, without question, the best Turkish breakfast I have ever had in my three years of living in Turkey. Truly an unforgettable culinary experience!

Atmosphere and aesthetics fit in with the towns historical significance. Good rooms with nice showers. Awesome breakfast and staff Challenging to get through small alleyways with luggage but not impossible

It is a small, but very nice hotel, with very charming rooms. The building is very beautiful. We went in January, it was a bit cold, so we were very happy that the water and air heating worked properly. The staff is very kind. The breakfast is excellent! The location is good, near Balikgol, Archeological and Mosaic Museums, and the bazar. Using public transportation, you can go easily to Gobekli Tepe. The bathroom of our room was a bit small. But everything worked properly. We stayed in a triple room. In spite of being a charming room, it was a bit small with few places to organize clothes and so on.

Never a hot shower. Trim falling off the wall. Facility not well maintained.
