Hotel Crawford

It’s clean and the staff is friendly It’s not 4 stars. The photos were misleading, for example there were not umbrellas or a bar with service. The facilities listed at the hotel were NOT included in the price. And even more ridiculous were limited to 1 hour even for 40 euros.

The room was spacious, the side balcony with a view lovely and the surrounding area and quick access to the beach wonderful. The fan in the bathroom was quite loud and would not turn off. It was over 30C every night and the air conditioning struggled to cool the room.

This was by far and away the best hotel staff I’ve had the pleasure of staying with. So accommodating I cannot put into words how grateful we were to have stayed at Hotel Crawford. The rooms were much bigger than I expected. Location was very easy to move around the coast. The Value was great per night. This is the third hotel I’ve stayed in and the only one where I’ve left a review like this for. Graci Location was great for a quick bite to eat up or down the street lovely Cafes nearby and views which are attached. But we travelled to sorrento a lot for wedding activities and the $25 taxis added up

We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. The friendly staff, great atmosphere, and overall experience exceeded

The hotel was awesome, rooms clean and cozy, helpful receptionists.

A but far from the main touristy area. Be prepared to walk. Our AC unit also didn’t work so it was warm

The beds were not comfortable and were extremely hard

Clean, quiet, great location and the balcony was lively for breakfast (byo porridge) The meals area is MASSIVELY under-utilized. Great location awful food, orange juice in a glass not much bigger than a shot glass seemed a bit stingy. Terrible tasteless coffee from automatic machine. One breakfast and the rest we did ourselves in our room.

Everything, staff super friendly There was nothing to dislike about the property . Everything close by.

Great location. Close to water. Not crowded. Bright & Clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy access to Pompei from train station. We were able to take the ferry to Naples - a 45 minute crossing. Also trips to Amalfi Coast easily available. . Your ad said a short walk,from train station. but failed to mention small streets, and uneven walkways so difficult to manipulate suitcases. When you arrive at destination rail station the man in the office not helpful on how to get to hotel.

Staff was friendly and very helpful... and patient with my many requests. Also, the room was ideal. Finally, the location was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel. Staff. Hotel. Location.

Very good

We really enjoyed our stay and were pleasantly surprised as our expectations based on reviews were cautious. The property is clean and not outdated. The location being a bit far from Sorrento was still okay with us as we enjoyed the 30 minute walk into Sorrento and the restaurants nearby with great views of the port and ocean.

The front desk staff member who tried to offer tours on first day, and attitude changed one she saw we had stuff booked. She provided incorrect information about the downtown area, & restaurants I inquired about. She refused to make a reservation and lied

Exceptional

Good Location, friendly staff, room had balcony with table, chairs and loungers. Advertised with a bar and roof top bar. The bar was only open at breakfast time and the roof bar never opened. Reception told us the would get us drinks if we asked them. This is not the same as a bar. Maybe they don't open mid September

Superb

Receptionist was friendly and did what she could for us. View from room. Very poor. Claim they are 4-star hotel but more like a 2 or 3 star hotel. Holes in sheets, pillow cases and towels. Hairs on floor and bed. Dirty mugs. No spoons. No slippers. Iron but no ironing board. Cleaner knocked early even though “do not distrub on door” black marks on wall. Paint pealing off wall. Safe low down so hard to access. Small shower. Can go on and on.
