Gargiulo Resort

The property is small but the views from the room were incredible. Maybe need some more amenities. I didn’t see the hot tub that was in the picture when I booked. Didn’t like that uber was not available in the area but that had no reference to the accommodation.

The hotel is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and never feels crowded. Some of the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. The rooms are clean, and the hot tubs are a wonderful, relaxing amenity. There is no restaurant or food service available after breakfast, and there isn’t even a coffee machine in the room or lobby. Since the property is quite far from shops and restaurants, it’s difficult to spend the day enjoying the amenities without having to leave the hotel for food or drinks. Offering light meals, snacks, or beverages throughout the day would greatly improve the guest experience.

From the location to the staff, Gaia and Julia, everything was perfect. Both were attentive to our inquiries and suggested some hidden gems away from the bustling crowds. There was nothing that we did not like.

Everything was excellent during our stay. The location is superb, with convenient parking always available. The view from the window was especially impressive and made the experience even better.

The property is beautiful and maintained with love. The owner was so wonderful and accommodating. We WILL be back, and we’re bringing friends.

Clean, nice view, inside is nicely decorated, kind staff. Breakfast is a la carte and quite limited for non italian people, surroundings are a bit unpleasant (dump close by), can be noisy at night (music/disco).

We stayed at Gargiulo Resort for 3 nights and it was truly unforgettable. The place is stunning—modern, beautifully designed, and with views that stop you in your tracks. You can feel the love and detail in everything, from the interior touches to the cutlery. The food at their restaurant was next level—fresh, local, and full of flavor. What made it really special though were our hosts, Augusto and Gaia. Warm, welcoming, and full of heart—they made the whole experience feel personal and unique. It’s the kind of place where you arrive as guests and leave feeling like friends.

The room is beautiful, the view is amazing and you can enjoy it from your room and in the restaurant. The staff is amazing! helped us with anything we needed, from breakfast time to planning our trip and deciding the most recommended locations. Everything was perfect!

Staying at Gargiulo Resort was an exceptional experience. Every detail, from the exquisite interior design to the impeccable level of service, was outstanding. The room was incredibly comfortable, and the entire resort radiated excellence. The food was extraordinary and truly deserving of a Michelin star. They were incredibly accommodating with our dietary requirements, providing delicious vegan and vegetarian options that exceeded our expectations. Special thanks to the owner, Rita, her son Agustino, and their family for welcoming us as their own. We also want to express our gratitude to the staff members, including Vicenzo, Antonio, Igor, Rosanna, Giulia, and the rest of the team, who treated us like friends. We can't wait to return.

This place was AMAZING! We booked very last minute as we had spent the day exploring Capri and wanted to drive the Amalfi coast the next day but wanted to avoid staying in Sorrento. The owners are so lovely and accommodating. The location is perfect, on a hillside roughly 10 minutes from Sorrento with beautiful views of the coast. There are 2 hottubs with amazing views. The place is new (Sept. 2023 I believe) and they have done a lovely job with the design. The restaurant was not open yet but they pointed us to very good pizza place only a 5 minutes drive away. Breakfast was brought to our rooms so we could eat on the terrace. Breakfast was very good with fresh baked goods and yogurt. We are a family of 4 (2 teenagers) and the sofa bed was plenty big and very comfortable. Everything was just perfect. The hot tub closes at 20:00 so be sure you get there in time to take advantage of it and enjoy the view. We can not recommend this place enough, it is just so special and was one of our favorite places to stay during our time in Italy. This is not a complaint as this accommodation is absolutely amazing. The hotel is new so they are still putting the finishing touches on things, but having someplace to hang the bathroom towels would be a nice addition to the room (just some hooks near the bathroom). As of Feb. 2024 they are still working on the restaurant so the noise started around 07:30 in the morning (not bad, just a lot of workers talking and various machine noises). We were heading out anyways so it was not a problem, just something to think about if you are planning to sleep in and you are staying there while construction is still going on (I believe they said it would be done by March or April 2024?). Do not let this deter you as this did not take away from our stay at all, just an observation.
