Charming atmosphere, well maintain traditional and upgrades. My room was quaint, large enough for chairs, a desk and fireplace. The breakfast area is inviting and choices are delicious. The location is great for walking to the beach or local spots. Loved the experience.

ovepriced, smelled, moldy, old, delapidted, horrible place.

The Eagle Inn was a very quaint and friendly property. The staff was accommodating. They have free breakfast that was excellent. They also have outside areas for lounging and even an area for smokers. Walking distance to the beach. I would absolutely visit this property again.

Very good

Super cute hotel, our room had an adorable private patio and everything was very clean. Location is walkable to downtown but a few blocks away from the busy parts so quiet at night. The concierge was very helpful with local recommendations and with everything we needed during our stay.

The location is great, the staff couldn't be nicer, and the overall vibe/decor is very cute & quirky. Also nice to always have a decent stocked coffee cart, and they have little touches like cookies or taffy out in the lobby. For the (considerable) price we were a bit disappointed with the overall stay. At upwards of $700/night you just kind of expect the foundational stuff to be a bit more elegant. Though I realize some of it is just that this is an older building--they don't have things like chargers on the nightstand, and very few outlets. That wasn't a big deal for us but I could see others being frustrated. The mattress was kind of creaky--the type where when one person rolls over the other bounces around. The ceiling fan in our room didn't work, so the staff very kindly gave us a small table-top fan, which somewhat helped but it was also quite dirty and full of lint and didn't turn on unless you cycled the knobs and banged the top of it just right. Most disappointing though, was the breakfast. Other reviews we saw raved about the breakfast, and it seemed a big perk of the place was that 'not only is breakfast included, but it's special and made to order,' not like a crummy continental grab & go. But this breakfast is barely better than that. In the kindest terms it is simply nothing special. But if I'm wearing my obnoxious Foodie Hat: it was downright bad. The bacon quiche I had was chalky and almost inedible. The yogurt with a tiny sprinkle of homemade granola is basically a parfait from Pret, but smaller. The fruit cups and glasses of juice are teeny tiny. It all felt like it was made in a kind of nice high school cafeteria or bought at Ralph's. Again, plenty of hotel breakfasts aren't much more than fuel for the day, but at this price point and with places like Chad's & Jeanine's right around the corner (granted, you might have to wait) this was such a bummer.

Location. It was basically a hotel room. I would have preferred a suite. Easy parking and access. Good breakfast served. Not a thing

Our room was very clean, comfortable, and had nice decor. The hotel is relatively small but was very conveniently located within walking distance of downtown (main drag: State Street) and the beach. We had no issue getting a free parking spot in their lot on the side of the building. The free breakfast was made-to-order and was delicious although there were only 4 options to choose from as it's a tiny kitchen. They even have both indoor and outdoor seating on their nice front porch next to the sidewalk. Check in and check out at the front desk was very easy. Their wifi worked fine in the lobby but did not work well at all in our room but that's my only issue with this hotel.

The staff was great, our train arrived later than expected and waited for us to arrive before closing doors for evening. We had a mixture of all thing on menu which were all delicious.

We loved the true bed & breakfast experience with made to order breakfast. We didn't get the offer to have it in room or on the balcony that we read about but that was okay for us on this trip - I'm not sure if that offer still applies. Warm cookies were there when we arrived (but weren't made aware of them, just stumbled upon them) but a nice surprise! Lots of nice touches. An older property but lots of charm! We would recommend and will return if we can.

The mattress was slightly uneven, so even though I slept in the middle of the bed, I kept slowly sliding toward the edge, which wasn’t very comfortable.
