Santas Lodge and Resort

It was a really cute hotel decorated in Christmas. The only problem was that there was a microwave or refrigerator in the room.

If you’re looking for a place to sleep close to Holiday World, this is the place to stay. If you’re looking for a fancy spot to rest, this isn’t it. We thought the lobby was cute with all the Christmas themed items. The employees we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was solid, better than most hotel breakfast. It is definitely an older place that could use some updates. It does have a lodge/log cabin feel but I think a refreshing could help. It looks like someone is building new apartments/hotel nearby so maybe competition will help drive up the improvements. If we need 1 night to stay in the future, we would consider. But if it was a multi-day stay, we would likely look elsewhere.

So clean and convenient. Felt very safe. The breakfast was so limited that it would be better if the description stated that breakfast is not provided or just call it grab and go breakfast.

The location was excellent . Check in and out was a breeze. Kids loved the inside and outside pools. Would definitely stay again!

Only bad thing was the room didn't have a mini fridge or microwave. Breakfast was on point .

The rooms need update, bed sleep terrible the bath tub are to small toilet was too low to floor

Very close to HW, which is the reason we stayed there. Otherwise, everything was just OK. I understand that the rooms are designed to fit the Santa Claus theme, but the bathrooms need updated. Electrical outlets were not in a convenient place and extension cords didn't help. Our AC unit didn't work very well. TV was 32", which I think is small for this day and age. We didn't use the pool and it's appearance was again, just OK. I would only recommend this hotel if you're visiting HW and the price is right.

Property is very dated, but it was clean and had great amenities for kids.

First time ever being in Santa clause Indiana and this location exceeded my expectations and even more when we found out there were two pools ! Uhm the tv in the room is kinda small and ours was hard to see and had a line in it like it was broke but other than everything was great !

We loved the location. We went to Holiday World and it was so stress free to get there! The breakfast was amazing and the whole Christmas feel was awesome. We will be back!!

Breakfast was good and the close proximity to Holiday World We thought the room, hotel and grounds were not very well kept.

The location was great. The staff was friendly. There was blood on my sheets and blanket and my fitted sheet was inside out, so I had to go get new linens and remake my bed.There were nuts all over the floor along with open chapstick by my bed.

The cleanliness, the close proximity to Holiday world, breakfast was hot The shower curtain isn't lined so the water goes through it onto the floor. The chairs are very worn out, you sink extremely low into the chair. There's just two pillows on each bed that are very flat, dollar store quality. The mattresses have oversized toppers on them instead of buying new. Overall very dated, especially for the rate charged.
