Residenza d'Epoca Olimpia

Our hosts were amazing, especially the brothers Costabile and Alfonso Di Sess, they were extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly. There was nothing we could falter.

This is a Family run and owned home. It's an Historic house beautifully decorated with comfortable clean rooms. The Hosts were so kind and responsive. Check-in was a breeze. They assisted with free parking very close to the lodging and even treated me with a delicious Glass of chilled wine. The beautiful Town of Castellabate is just a ten-minute drive away or a hike up steps to the mountain town. The location is fabulous with a view of the sea and can hear the waves from my room! Could not have been more thrilled. I have already referred friends and will visit again for certain. You will not be disappointed. N/A

The property was so lovely! It was clean and spacious and we were so comfortable. It is situated right in the most perfect location, steps to the beach. The owners were so kind and treated us like family. They picked us up and helped us a park etc. The breakfast was amazing. It was just a wonderful stay and we would go back 100%! I loved everything!

My husband and I spent a week in September at Residenza d'Epoca Olimpia and we agree it is one of our favorite hotels of all time. Residenza d'Epoca Olimpia is located in a magnificent stone building dating to the 1600s, which was renovated from top to bottom by the Famiglia Di Sessa: Andrea and Anna, along with their adult sons Costabile and Alfonso. While it has very clean and modern rooms and all conveniences, the hotel retains the character of the original building, making it a beautiful and special place to stay. One of the high points is the spacious outdoor patio overlooking the sea, where a fabulous breakfast is served each morning under an arbor of hanging grapes and where we often watched the sun set in the evening. Our room, which faced the hillside at the back (some have ocean views) was quiet and peaceful, yet the hotel is only a few minutes by foot from the center of town. Also just minutes away is a sandy beach with clean and clear water to swim in. What we enjoyed most, however, was the truly outstanding hospitality of the family. All of them, as well as sister-in-law Iolanda, who serves the breakfast, were always both gracious and friendly. Costabile and Alfonso speak very good English, but were happy to let us practice our Italian with them and gave us lots of excellent advice as to places to explore nearby. Our week at Residenza d'Epoca Olimpia was truly memorable; we hope to return before long. We hated to leave.

Great location, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - very approachable and happy to answer any questions and give advice about local amenities. Lovely place to stay and a good breakfast. Would highly recommend!

It is ideally located, a new boutique hotel. Nothing. There is a minor hassle with parking, but this is normal with the old town location, and the staff was accommodating.
