Hotel La Casablanca Tayrona

Our room was spacious and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great. There are three pools which are nice and relaxing. The highlight is definitely the INCREDIBLE staff--they go above and beyond, answering any questions you may have, and making your stay very comfortable. We had a ton of questions about hiking tayrona and visiting the beaches and they were so informative and patient. The food is always AMAZING--Chef Samuel offers a menu that he excels at and we actually regret not having more meals there. The rice with shrimp was one of the best we've ever had. Overall, it has a really lovely family and homey vibe, we really appreciate our stay there. Honestly, I feel like this should be expected at a more remote location but the wi-fi could go in and out. That is not a complaint and we were not expecting steady wi-fi so it was no a problem for us.

This is a lovely hotel surrounded by nature. It feels like staying in the middle of the jungle! We loved the swimming pools. The blinds in the bedroom don’t block out the patio lights. I had to wear an eye mask.

Great hotel in the jungle close to tayrona. Very well maintained, clean facilities and friendly and helpful staff. The Restaurant on site is great and overall the hotel is really good value. Tucans can be spotted from the pool!

Beautiful surroundings

I liked it all. the food was great and you 3 pools to choose from. I really enjoyed my down time there. Very short walk to the town and to the hiking trails as well. the internet was spotty at times.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great hammocks and pool access to cool down in a hot environment. Very convenient to the calabazo entrance The restaurant was ok. We opted elsewhere for dinner.

The bungalow was a little bit dark and only had a very small bathroom. The WIFI didn't always work (especially in the rooms in the main building)

I love it, the breakfast and everything was excellent.. the rooms clean and the pool as well very clean..

Perfect location - 5 min walk to Tayrona park entrance and 15-30 min bus ride to other beautiful beaches. The hotel was nicer than expected. We loved how the hotel integrated with nature, it was like being in the park with beautiful views all around. The staff was also really kind and helpful with any inquires. We also wetness their quick response when another group who was just checking in had a person in their group arrive sick. The whole staff came together to help her and called medical assistance for her. It's always good to see you're staying somewhere that truly cares for their guests. Also, the food in the restaurant was soooo delicious.

The AC in our room wasn’t cooling very well. It was ok because the night ended up being cool, but I would have been frustrated if it had been a hot night.

Amazing! The rooms were enormous and comfortable. The staff were incredible, attentive and kind. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great location for a walk in tayrona national park. Great breakfast included. Very helpful staff. Lively pools. Ate in the restaurant at night 3 times, no more expensive than other venues in the area. Would recommend the hotel. nothing

The property was clean , the two pools were big enough and we had a great time there One day before our leaving I personally asked to the staff if they will be able to provide lunch for the next day, they said yes and then when we were in the dinner room waiting for the lunch they informed us that the kitchen was closed because the staff were resting, it would have been nicer from them telling us in advance that the kitchen would be close so we could have planned our day according to that

10/10 for the restaurant, good vegetarian options, juices are large and good. Breakfast options were good. Staff was friendly. We had room #5 which was quite large for the 2 of us. Shower was warm and bed was comfortable. Airconditioning worked well, and had a place to hang your clothes just in front of it but leaked some water. Room smelled a bit of mold, wifi didn't work in our room. There was a bright lamp just in front of our room which was not blocked by the thin curtains. Location perfect distance to the Calabazo entrance of Tayrona NP.

The hotel grounds are beautiful, especially the pools. The eating area with covered patio is also great. The fish we ordered for dinner was fried to death, not much left to eat. The outside lights were shining through the curtains, not great for sleeping. The lighting of the pathways is very dim, and it makes them treacherous at night.
