WaterColor Inn & Resort

My room was so moldy smelling that my pregnant daughter got sick from it.

We were on 38 for about a week and had rented a home however I had heard that this property had great reviews and my six-year-old daughter really needed a pool to play in so we decided to try it for two days. And let me tell you I was blown away. This is one of the best resorts I have stayed at in my whole life because of the amenities you get access to the beach club, which is completely separate than the pool on the hotel property, the beach club is a few steps around the corner from the hotel and is multilevel right on the beach. It is fabulous for adults and kids very family oriented. It even has a small gift shop next to the pool to buy items like pool noodles or Floaties or Popsicles. You can take the bridge next to the pool and walk over to the beach.. one of the pools is adult only. I also was able to enjoy some live music. I believe you might want to check out their event calendar where they will list what activities they have that day. The community is so nice. We had rented some E bikes and strolled through the nature trails on the property and went to camp watercolor the next day, which is next to the property and also accessible with your hotel stay. I actually preferred the beach club better. However the camp watercolor is really cool for kids because it has a bunch of slides and different pools plus the lazy river. It is very pricey and I believe they will require you to have a two nights deposit if you book directly through them so booking thru Expedia better.

We stayed Sunday-Thursday at the Watercolor Inn and it was nothing short of incredible. Even before arriving and calling the resort asking questions the week leading up to, to make sure we had our boxes checked, the staff was incredible! My husband and I both mentioned at least once a day how kind and helpful all of the staff were both at the Inn and throughout the Watercolor community! Randy at the front desk was great and gave us recommendations that ended up being family favorites! Rooms were clean and they leave you fresh baked cookies every evening on your bed. We also loved the Treats Suite! The pool was great and not crowded. The poolside service was incredible. We will be back!

WaterColor Inn has set such a high standard for hospitality that it's hard to imagine staying anywhere else. Every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. We can't wait for our next stay!

Amazing property in a even more amazing location! Food at the resort was really good hotel staff was friendly. Definitely will be staying here again.

The beach club is world class with an unbeatable view of the beach and a great selection of food. Loved it.

We went for our 20yr wedding anniversary and had a 3rd floor beach side room with balcony. The weather was absolutely beautiful as well as the water with no seaweed or jellyfish! Everything was top notch, including a clean and spacious room, with a super friendly, helpful staff!

Can’t wait to go back again !

The resort was beautiful and the rooms were spacious. I really appreciated the daily turndown service and extra added amenities like treats in the room and treat suites. The beach view was beautiful and the pools were amazing. My family cannot wait to be back.

The biggest issue was the noise. Throughout our stay, we were kept awake by constant stomping from the room above us, furniture being moved, doors slamming, and children yelling. We spent most of our days out enjoying the area, so the primary purpose of our room was to provide a comfortable place to rest at night. Unfortunately, we got very little sleep during our stay. We also informed the front desk at check-in that we were celebrating our anniversary and were told that something special would be provided during our stay. Nothing was ever delivered or acknowledged, which was disappointing after it had been mentioned to us. Housekeeping was another area that fell short. While our bed was made daily, the sheets were never changed despite sand remaining in the bedding from our beach trips. As a result, we spent the entire stay sleeping in sandy sheets, which was uncomfortable and not what we expected from a property at this price point. The property itself is beautiful and the location is excellent, which makes the experience even more frustrating. Given the nightly rate, we expected a much higher level of comfort, attention to detail, and overall guest experience. While we rarely leave negative reviews, we felt it was important to share our experience for future guests and hope the management team takes these concerns seriously.

First time at the Watercolor Inn, celebrating our 21 year anniversary. Everything was absolutely perfect!!! They even surprised us with a bottle of wine and a piece of cake to celebrate. The room was beautiful, the staff was friendly, helpful and amazing. The turndown service was top notch. We will definitely be back.

Restaurant FOOW is just average food, mediocre service / beachfront/ stunning location Beach chairs at $100/ day is excessive. We will stay again

No detail left untouched - our stay was amazing! From the thoughtful additions of things like robes, slippers, room spray, a room of treats for the kids on every level, front beach access, beautiful pools and firepit areas, to the welcoming staff that felt like family by night 2... we will be back again and again!

The room was beautifully appointed with a perfect unobstructed view of the beach. Housekeeping went above and beyond. The treat suite alone is worth the price of admission. We found our new go to vacation spot.

What an incredible hotel stay. From the minute we checked in to our departure the staff was welcoming, helpful & extremely professional. You can tell they love their jobs. The room was immaculate with a beautiful view from the balcony of the blue green water of the gulf. (4th floor) I highly recommend this hotel that had 3 heated pools.
