Hotel Castello di Santa Vittoria
About Hotel Castello di Santa Vittoria
Set in a pretty 15th-century medieval village, Hotel Castello di Santa Vittoria offers an outdoor pool with hydromassage overlooking the Langhe hills. The restaurant serves traditional Piedmont cuisine. This 4-star hotel has a hilltop location in Santa Vittoria d'Alba, a 15-minute drive from Alba center. Local attractions include the Church of San Francesco which features paintings by the artist Canavesio, dating back to 1350. Completely refurbished, Castello di Santa Vittoria has a modern design with predominantly white color schemes and wood floors. Rooms and suites are spacious and comfortable, with free WiFi, LCD TVs and a mini-bar. Some rooms have a balcony with views over the hills. A continental breakfast is served each morning in a dining room that overlooks the swimming pool and surrounding garden. Local wines and food can be tried and bought in the lobby where there is a gastronomic exhibition. Free parking is provided and Lambretta motorbikes and quad bikes are available to rent. The deco was a bit weird inside our room. A boiler and coffee machine would have been nice add-on.

This is a beautiful hotel built within the old castle walls on top of a hill. You could see most of Piedmont from the pool. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional. Everyone at the hotel took care that you were happy. The location is a little more remote than I thought it would be. This area however is very spread out so no matter what hotel you chose, you would be driving to most destinations in the wine region. Once at the hotel, it is a wonderful place to finish the day, lounging by the pool or having dinner in the great restaurant on premise.

Location There was no one there to help with the luggage and no coffee machine or water heater in the room.

This is a nice hotel. Its very big and our rooms were at the back and kinda out of the way. They felt a little old-fashioned. The pool area is nice, and all of the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant, with lovely views and good service. The breakfast was just alright - could have been better.

Idyllic location, spacious rooms, very helpful staff. Good breakfast. When busy, parking is not easy .

Wonderful stay, stunning location with panoramic views. Easy drives to the local towns and wineries. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Pool is fantastic. Enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. Rooms modern and comfortable. Nothing!
-
Very clean hotel and rooms with friendly staff.
-
Pool, comfortable & modern room, great views. Breakfast selection was lacking.

The breakfast was superb with a hot dish of scrambled egg and bacon plus the cold continental breakfast items. There was a good selection of fruit drinks and water. The coffee was as good as anywhere in Italy, however, you were restricted to two cups but you could purchase additional drinks.

Location The tower was full of pigeons, carcasses and their excrement

Unbelievable views, great pool, clean and well appointed rooms and a top restaurant!
