Château La Roca

Nice Hotel on the edge of Santander. Easy access with car and lots of free parking. Also easy to visit Santander by car many free parking's there. Used those near the Arena/beach. Good room with fridge but sadly not kettle for heating water liked most, but could be nice with kettle for heating water for coffee and tea ( I know there was a vending machine in reception :-) )

The AC did not work and it gets so hot at night. Also the wifi barely worked, the bed is not comfortable either.

The staff gave a extraordinary service surpassing any 5 star hotels. and they all were very helpful and going above and beyond and making you feel like family not like a guest.

Nice spacious room, with big closets and big bathroom. Air conditioning is outdated but still works. Free parking right outside the door. There is no cafeteria, no coffee or tea available. Only one basic place for breakfast closeby. It is far from the city.

Very clean room, enough space for 2-3 people, good light. Stuff is very friendly and speak English which is not a common thing in Spain. Sound isolation is low but that's pretty much it

Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent room, very clean and modern Out of the way suburban location, you need a car.

Nice spacious bedroom with good WiFi. Parking paid for motorbike. Staff was very welcoming It was 3km away from the city centre but you can easily get the bus for €1.30 a ride and it is quick and easy.

Very comfortable and clean room, staff was very helpful even with our mobility issues it wasn’t a problem for them. Very close to port for our ferry the next day.

Very clean hotel with a nice sized room. The location is slightly inland but was in a good residential area with a good bar and restaurants in easy walking distance. Secure parking for 10 euros per night was good. Bit of noise at night (from bar below) but wasn't too late!

Excellent location to stop on the way to the ferry. I nearly didn't book as someone had given a very bad review, particularly regarding parking. They must have had a grudge of sorts. There is loads of parking both in the car park shared with the cafe downstairs and on the private road in front of the entrance. The hotel is upstairs, and reception is in a large, comfortable lounge area that has a couple of handy vending machines. The room was large and very clean. The bathroom was amazing and very new and modern. The shower was brilliant. The little fridge was the quietest I have ever heard. I did not need to unplug it for the night. The cafe/bar downstairs was not noisy or busy and can be accessed via the hotel even though it is a separate business. There are another couple of eating choices nearby. A really lovely nights stay in a very comfortable bed. I highly recommend it. Nothing. It's great.

Very nice staff, clean rooms, great location (10 minutes drive to the Airport and/or city Santander. 24/7 reception. Very clean room. Super nice and clean bathroom. We would come again.
