Exceptional

Location Very disappointing experience for a supposed 5-star hotel. The only real positive was the location, which was excellent and very convenient. Unfortunately, almost everything else fell far below what I would expect from a hotel in this category. There was no gym, wellness center, or proper spa facilities, which is surprising for a 5-star property and made the hotel feel very limited in terms of amenities. Breakfast was another disappointment. The selection was very limited, especially considering the hotel’s rating and price level. On our final day, the food was also poorly cooked, which left an especially bad final impression. The bar service was equally frustrating. There were no proper menus for alcoholic drinks, so it was difficult to know what was available or what the prices were. Even worse, some of the waiters did not seem to know which alcohol brands the bar actually served. For a 5-star hotel, this level of service and lack of basic information is simply not acceptable. Overall, the hotel relies heavily on its good location, but the facilities, food, and service do not come close to a true 5-star standard. Based on my experience, I would not recommend it to anyone expecting the quality and service normally associated with a luxury hotel.

Nothing We left after 2 days to what was a one week booking. Best way to describe what to expect is that you’re doing them a favour by being there. Completely uninterested in their guests.

The hotel is beautiful. It is like a palace with a garden where breakfast is served and a terrace overlooking the bay for drinks and light food. It is located in a green neighborhood on a hill - which is the high part of the city and has been nicely preserved. The room was spacious and it had a nice antique touch.

Suite was amazing, bathroom spacious. The garden was beautiful & comfortable seating in the bar areas. I loved the retro lift it made me feel like I was in an Agatha Christie movie. Cabs turned up when asked for. Beach was beautiful too, soft sand & the water was great, cool during a hot spell. They gave me 2 numbers to get room service, I rang one & said what I required & the person said one Spanish word & put the phone down, I rang the second and after yet again explaining what I wanted, they said you need 106 & put the phone down, I rang 106 & they put the phone down, so I was quite angry by then & went downstairs & got a bottle of Cava, ice bucket & 3 glasses myself!

The location was good ,view, the staff was quite friendly , breakfast delicious We got our towels dirty, all in mascara, the bed spread as well , laundry took almost 3 days( got it back only by calling back reception)

Beautiful historic hotel with breathtaking sea views. Breakfast staff were very attentive and professional. Interns are put at the front desk—they were sweet but not knowledgeable enough to be the face of this caliber hotel; no proper concierge to answer questions; some staff had a slight attitude; needs more professional management in key areas.

The views and the exclusivity of the venue! It has been a great experience together with a very kind and helpful staff! Everything was good, nonetheless if I had to say something the room had a bit of a smell of the moquette, so I would invest in giving a bit of a refreshing air smell change
