Gran Hotel Victoria

Price, location and attention from staff members were superb. You step out the hotel, look to your right, and the sea is welcoming you for a wonderful cantabrico day. The structures is comfortable, the outdoor area is perfect for a sunset drink and some relaxing moments. I'd definitely be back. The staff was also really honest about the public parking nearby - they told me it was safe and that I could use that; never created a scene to make me pay for their own parking. Nothing.

We were at the hotel from May 27 to 30, we have never seen parties being held in a hotel outside right under the windows of the rooms, noisy parties lasting until after 12 midnight. Absolutely impossible for a person to sleep and rest. We couldn't sleep for two nights in a row. We complained at the reception and they said that nothing could be done. I do not recommend the hotel, this is

The hotel was very easy to locate. Lovely views into the bay. Nice room, hotel was very clean and well presented. Staff very helpful and friendly. Car parking was secure and easy to access. Our evening meal was excellent and the breakfast had a wide range of items. Dining room in March was a little cool, but it is northern Spain and we were suitably clad in sweaters, some clients may not have been as well prepared.

Great location for several beaches and the royal park. Clean rooms, powerful shower, nice terrace for drinks. Great views and great value. However, the restaurant was a surprise. It was excellent, a fantastic menu del dia with three courses, four choices per course, a decent rioja and coffee and water. The food was delicious and fantastic value - all over the above for 26 euros per head. Unbeatable. One of our best meals anywhere. Lots of parking available out of season on street as well as their off-street car park. Not a lot

Very nice hotel in nice place. Our room has a nice view, was very clean and suitable, with a number of closets. Near- many buses to the city center - This is not 4-star hotel. 300+eur per night is not right cost for this stay. - There is nothing in room that you expect to have in 4-star hotel, as for example bathroom accessories, coffee machine with coffee and tea, bottles of water and etc, nothing. - Bathroom tools - as shower, gel holders and etc - are not so convenient to use due their locations - Breakfast is additional 16eur per person - this is extremely excessive and does not cost that. You will find a nice breakfast around for 2-3 times less money and better choice.

Room was a bit cramped with the extra bed; ok if they charged for a double but too small to charge for a triple. Very little space to unpack. Tiny bathroom. Found a sock under the bed suggesting it wasn't cleaned thoroughly. The terrace was spacious but on the first floor the view was less than exciting.

Location. Food Aircon didn’t cool until the evening
