Hotel Rhin Garden

Room was small, but comfortable, especially because the A/C worked very well. Beds were very comfortable. Courtyard provided a serene and tranquil retreat, a perfect place to unwind. Because the hotel is rather small, it never felt crowded. Breakfast service was exceptionally good, with attentive servers and excellent food. Although lighting in amenities were very modern and sleek, sensors were rather finicky. Some lights would stay on even when the client turned them off. The same applies to the TV set. It mysteriously turned on and off, changed channels, and adjusted volume at will and rather inexplicably. Air conditioning detected presence in the room and would shut off if there was no movement in the room. This obviously has the benefit of saving energy, but it translated into a hot room every time we came from outside. It would, then, take 20, 30, 40 minutes, even an hour or more to cool the room back again. The tiny fridge was useless; it was unable to keep even a single small water bottle cool, let alone cold. On the restaurant service front, some of the servers seemed to be poorly trained, and they were intent on taking our tableware away even before we were done eating. Such hurriedness was uncalled for, especially because the hotel was not very busy. A few suggestions: 1) Having door knob tags in the room with the message "DO NOT DISTURB" would help room service to know when to clean a room or open a room door. 2) Front desk was unattended quite frequently, which could compromise safety. 3)

The terrace area was nice and welcoming There aren’t a lot of places around to eat. If you are not Spanish and want to eat after a long travel day, it’s hard to find a place to eat. The hotel restaurant has an offering of sandwiches till the restaurant opens at 8:30 pm. The staff in the cafe are pleasant but are busy and consequently it’s hard to get attention. However, there’s one staff member, Eva, who is absolutely delightful and pleasantly goes over and above her call of duty.

Exceptional property, with very comfortable rooms.

Beautiful hotel, exceptionally clean and modern. Stunning garden with swimming pool and gym facility. 5 minute walk to the beach area. We were leaving very early the next morning and they prepared a breakfast to take with us for the journey. Really really nice touch. Highly reccommend. There's nothing I didnt like, I suppose it was a good distance fro mthe centre, but we knew this when booking as we wanted to be near the beach.

Difficult to find parking

The only little thing was that the AC shuts off when you leave the room. And it doesn’t go below 20 degrees. So it can’t be a little too hot

Breakfast was super and the staff were really helpful. Location was perfect - right by the beach and a short taxi ride from the old town centre. Breakfast only started at 8am so we couldn't avail of it on our last day but the staff made us up a picnic to take with us, so it worked out fine.
