Four Points by Sheraton Hainan, Sanya

The ocean view from our 21st floor apartment was spectacular. We loved the spacious room as well and how clean the facilities were. Being on holiday , we found having to pay to watch movies on the room tv rather odd.

Very nice place. Location and swimming pool very nice and very safe many guard available until 10 pm. Need more international food in breakfast and more activities and animation in the hotel

We were treated very well as soon as we stepped in to the hotel. Welcome drink and a very pleasant and efficient check in. We were very impressed with the receptionist as well as the concierge who explained in detail on all our questions. We will be back for sure next year Really love this hotel!? Nothing.

The location is amazing. Its a short ride to any of the tourist destinations. Room and facilities are a bit old but it is still very clean. If you are lucky you might catch some fireworks right by the balcony!

Very conveniently located - all you have to do is cross the road to get to the beach. Breakfast was great. We also tried their dinner buffet, and we were very satisfied. The view from our room was gorgeous - it was my favorite thing! Also, we got all the amenities and supplies we needed The staff should work on their English and communication overall. They had an unexpected maintenance issue, and they moved us to another room on a different floor, which by itself is not a big deal. However, the way they communicated this to us was very confusing and frustrating. I had to "fish out" the answers to my questions instead of receiving them in the first place. Another thing - we went up to the 29th-floor bar for dinner, and, as it turns out, it takes a whole hour to get your meal because they don't have their own kitchen. Again, we only found out after we placed an order. The staff should have been more proactive and told us right away about the long wait time.

Location , facilities, especially the sky bar. Communication gap with staff. They have charged my room but the booking has not been done properly. I was in a great challenge to explain and correct it. But they helped that they can and understand.

I booked a two bedroom for 4 adults and the room was huge, 90 sq m I think. The toilet is huge too with a circular bath tub. Hotel is dated but room was still acceptable. The hotel location is great, just opposite the 海月广场where retirees danced day and night. There’s a street called 外贸路which is right behind the hotel. You can get cheap and nice local Hainanese and 东北 food like 饺子. It’s near bus stops, a slightly longer distance from the tram stop. Fortunately or unfortunately, we won the first prize at the hotel’s Christmas Eve buffet dinner. The prize was their presidential suite. That was the downfall of our stay. The suite was beyond repair. I’m upset that they even offer this as the top prize. The carpet flooring near the entrance into the toilet was torn and worn. The curtains in the living room were hanging loose at some points. Some can no longer close automatically. The huge bathroom had blinds that no longer shuts properly. The room decors badly need to be replaced. This is their top room but such poorly maintained presidential suite, really spoilt our stay. I was embarrassed to ask for switch back to our original room as we requested to upgrade to this room in short notice. On hindsight, luckily, we did. Imagine the disappointment and anger if we flew back to Hainan two months later for this broken suite.

Location really excellent. Close with hotel many local streets too. You can enjoy local Chinese food. Beach direct next to hotel. Taxi services without waiting time. View from room excellent. Breakfast food and organization excellent too. By first room entry strong humidity and bad air smell. Next days much better. Night club - many small dancing children without parents control.

Nice location, great outdoor pool area, good facilities (Thai spa, gym), large rooms with very comfortable beds and incredible views, good buffet quality, friendly personnel Communication mainly via translation apps, spa information would be easier if in English. Buffet is mainly Chinese choices, very limited healthy or vegetarian options.
