Hostel Brasil Sp

We had a terrible experience at Akkuy Hostel. We found bed bugs in our beds ... they moved us twice (and my partner three times) because the new beds were also infested. It's unacceptable to charge people to sleep in such conditions, exposing them to health risks and infection. A place like this should not be allowed to operate. It's almost inhumane. I would not recommend this hostel to anyone.

Very nice staff, kind and helpful, thank you for bringing this place. Bedbugs in the room, this is terrible for the money. The staff is trying, but very poorly, there is no treatment after the previous residents, they ran a mop across the floor a couple of times and cleaned up. But people are trying, apparently for their salary, what else can you expect. The kitchen is clean but there is no kettle, there is nowhere to heat water except in a common fire pot where people cook all sorts of things. Accordingly, they wash the dishes somehow. There is nothing to say about Wi-Fi at all, it is there, but the constantly falling connection does not allow normal communication even by text.

The street is ok but the surroundings might be sketchy, only one guy from the staff speaks very basic english, the rest don’t but they all do their best to help you. Beds are clean and comfy, kitchen is ok, common areas are fine, Wi-Fi works. They leave the windows open at night, people in the street can be loud and you’ll feel the sun in your face at 5am, bringing earplugs is a must. Not having hand soap in the toilettes is mean. There was a pile of $#it floating on the toilette for more han 24 hours and the floor in the room was dusty. Whenever they finally cleaned it was all good. FYI not many girls, or international travelers in the hostel.

The only good thing I can say the kitchen was good and had everything you need and it was kinda clean and the cheap price of the hostel the hot shower surprisingly worked Only stay here for 1 day max if you need a cheap room just for a day no more I don't know how this place has a score of 8 The staff doesn't speak any English The neighborhood isn't save at night Wi Fi is complete garbage it only works at the reception not in the rooms and some apps just don't work at all I can chat and watch YouTube but when I'm trying to open Uber in driver or booking app for example it doesn't work at all and sometimes the wi Fi just doesn't work at all The toilets don't flush There are no traveler's here only locals living in this hostel not a place where tourists should stay You can hear Everything from the kitchen below so it's super noisy until at least 11pm to midnight Room was not very nice too cheap beds and the room door is always open because there isn't even a handle on the door

The staff and the people I met there were good and friendly The cleanliness was lacking. The toilets didn’t work at times. It is a very busy place with people coming and going at all times

The staff was welcoming and the other guests were also easy-going. The rooms were filthy and infested with bed bugs, which was being complained by all the guests. Also, the bathrooms were small and lacked basic hygiene supplies. The facilities must be immediatily fumigated.

Hostel in a good location, good price and super quiet. All simple amenities for a traveler. Special thanks to the staff Debora for their care, attention and professionalism, which transform the atmosphere of the hostel.

The staff is very nice.
