Very nice staff, good room and close to the metro and lots of cafes

Given the simplicity of the hotel, the bedsheets retained a lot of humidity, and the shower towels were paper thin. Took me a few days to noticed they weren't doing room cleaning unless I asked for it, and even then, somedays they just did not seem to have the time to do it. The room did not have any sound insulation, so you could hear people walking in the hallway and even at the reception. Staff and guests would stop in front of my room door to talk loudly, sometimes at 3AM, waking you up. In one of the days an alarm started going off early in the morning for around 5 minutes, for no reason. The staff did not seem to have a good grasp at Booking.com, so they asked me multiple times if I was leaving on that day, even suggesting I moved to a different hotel when they booked my room to someone else. At my last day there, I came back to my room tired, only to find an enormous cockroach on the tiny bathroom. I was about to dismiss it as not the hotel's fault, when I remembered I was on vacations and supposed to be enjoying it. So I packed my bags and left the hotel before the end of my stay.
