Confortable Location

Had a great stay, the staff is super friendly, good wifi & location, quiet.

Chill & friendly hostel, great location, with a well-equipped kitchen. The staff is responsive and quick to investigate and solve issues. I stayed at Hostel Casa Azul for two weeks and will stay here again the next time I'm in São Paulo. Everything I didn't like that I brought to management was addressed within a timely manner.

On the down side bedbugs and cigarette smells are factors worth mentioning. I changed rooms and beds, but after a 5-night stay, can still count 34 bites all over my body. And even tho they have a “designated smoking area”, the wind blows the all smoke right into the common areas and at least into one of the rooms (6bed mix upstairs).

It seemed that bathrooms werent cleaned daily. This only became problem when the hostel was full. During these time trash can was full and some guess would start to throw paper on the floor. The shower and toilet should be cleaned more than once per day when the hostel is full. I am thankful that as many times as I bought it to the attention of the staff they help to clean up right away.

Comfortable and cheap All good

Wifi suitable for working and full stocked kitchen. I’m sorry, but I can’t rate this Hostel well. It really is far from everything and the area is very residential, nothing really to do.. it’s nothing compared to an area like Pinheiros. I typically like being with locals, but here struggled to make friends. Very little English was spoken, more of an introvert crowd… not typical Hostel people. For travelers and short stays, I recommend a different hostel.

The was bed bugs in my bed biting me at night so I couldn't sleep.

This hostel has been fantastic! I've been here for 9 weeks and plan to stay another 5 weeks. I came here with the intention of learning Portuguese and the staff and guests have offered me the interesting environment I was looking for. I've made several videos on my YouTube channel (@TheTMax) about why this place is so special. The kitchen is clean and equipped, which is a huge deal for me. The shared spaces are inviting and comfortable. There's never a line for the bathrooms, even when the hostel is full. The internet is super fast so I can get my work done. The staff are just phenomenal and helpful and have been an important part of why I continue to stay here. The hostel is located on a main avenue, and the shared dorm faces the avenue, so at night you can hear the (sometimes aggressively loud) traffic while you try to sleep.

Very clean. Felt safe. The place is not near anything like bars or restaurants.
