Location Bad experience. Guests making noise the whole night through, the system of the hotel is not organised. I arrived 14:30 to check in and had to wait 20 minutes for the room to be cleaned. Breakfast is terrible, cheap coffee that tastes horrible when drunk black without sugar (Brazil coffee is great but it costs $$$) the food were all third rate goods. Staff ok, location is great but not for the faint hearted as when it gets dark the creatures of the night are all over the neighbourhood

It’s a cheap place that is located in the center, 3 min to Republica square. It’s hostel with a privet bathroom, not hotel. The street is gross on which it’s located. 15 min walking distance to Main cathedral and other important places. Breakfast was good: eggs, sausages, ham, cheese, coffee, tea, yogurt, pastries. The room had a fan, no AC, for me it was enough. Outside was 30C. Front desk was nice, but nobody spoke English. Like every hotel in Brazil it isn’t clean good, super basic, they don’t change towels or sheets. My first room was on the 1 floor and it was crazy noisy: from people talking around, I could hear the toilets in other rooms and the laundry room. In the middle of the first night I asked to change the room. They gave me room on the second floor, it was a bit better. I will not stay again here: unpleasant street on which it’s not safe to walk when it’s dark ( however the police is everywhere) and it isn’t clean enough.

Though room was small it was OK for the price. No paper toilet holder in toilet. Hotel says breakfast from 6 to 9 a.m. When i went for breakfast on 05 March at 6:15 breakfast was not ready. I asked at least for fruits and eggs and bread. It was apparent the girl in kitchen could not do it then. I left hungry for the airport for my international flight at 6:20 a.m. duly upset having to go on an empty stomach and quite upset. Hotel should have realistic timings for breakfast like 7 to 9 a.m. If this was the case, i would have made my own breakfast.
