The workspace on the second level The wide bath/shower combo The dedicated toilet The proximity with shops and Susukino The amenities When you start looking, it becomes less and less clean. Some dust over here, some leftover papers or food from the last customer over there, some stains....

Located near susukino main area

I booked small double room for 3 nights. The thing I liked about the room is separated bathroom from toilet and the sink tab in the bedroom. Also, liked the microwave inside the room as well. It’s the best location in Susukino but still with big luggage and snow all over the streets. It’s a bit inconvenient to commute. Overall, the hotel room is good but I don’t like yellow lights inside the room.

Hospitality of the staff. They did not welcome us like they do to Japanese people

The staff was wonderful and was able to accommodate my request to keep my room the same. The check-in was easy. The room was very clean and quiet. Bathrobe was already included on the bed, which was nice. There was NO hot coffee anywhere to be found. The Cafe was closed, and I had no prior notice about that. There was no coffee machine in the room, though in Japan that's not unexpected. No coffee shops nearby open in the morning. Even the conbini was a little bit of a walk. There is a coworking space inside, but what's the use when there's no coffee?

Not many good things to say about this hotel, maybe the location? I'm a tour guide and live in hotels basically, and this one was not a nice one. Its kinda well located but a bit on the edges of the lively part. The staff was very unfriendly: on the first day they didn't want to give me 2 room keys (we were 2 guests), they did not speak English, told me there's no parking when there's clearly one, and when I asked to extend one night (because my work trip got extended and didn't wanna go through the hassle of changing hotel for an extra night) they came up with a weird story of how I can't extend at the front desk, I need to go to booking and pay for a twin and they will downgrade me to a single so I can stay in the same room (and of course charge me for the twin even thou I'm the one doing them the favor by staying in the same room??) so for that extra night they wanted to charge me 2k more than what I paid for 3 nights (mind you, this area is full of hotels), so I just said thank you and booked another hotel. Besides this, the bed was tilted towards the right side, the rooms are very dark, the laundry room was right in front of my door so very noisy, and the hallway carpet was incredibly stained

The best thing about this place is the availability and location of the hotel. They provide amenities on the lobby floor. The staff was present 24/7 and are able to store your luggage earlier than your check-in time. It’s not the most cleanest, but the normal rate is what you get for the price.

The self service room check in machines were easy to use. For Australian travellers the 3/4 person bedroom options is 2 king single beds. ( so hopefully you are comfortable enough with your travelling companions for a bit of spooning.) Also only one room key given per room.
