Caretta Landing Sarasota, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The front desk team member over night on the 22nd, was great, friendly and when I told him why I was coming in, he upgraded me as a way if make the transition better

When I got to the hotel to talk about the whole thing, i was able to be refunded for 2 out of my 3 night stay. They said they had to charge me for a no show fee. Even with me calling to inform them of the delay i was experiencing and then no one picking up the phone when i tried to keep them updated. The manager said becuase i booked through a third party website that it would be too much work t get the full refund.

The inside was nice and clean. It was located very close to Publix, which was very nice. The parking situation was a little strange and it was a little strange of a set up.

Clean room, friendly staff and great location

We had a very good experience overall! The room was clean and well maintained, and the breakfast was excellent with great service. We also really appreciated how pet-friendly the hotel was—it made our stay much more comfortable and convenient. The only area that could use some improvement is the laundry room, especially the cleanliness of the washing machines. Other than that, everything was very good, and we would definitely stay again! I'm very Thankful for be here and good price.

We had a wonderful experience at Caretta Landing Sarasota. The hotel was exceptionally clean, quiet, and had a very friendly staff that made us feel welcome right away. The breakfast options were great, and they even provided a helpful local map with coupons for nearby restaurants, activities, and attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome from Lynn. The vibe made you feel like you didn't want to leave. Our room was pristine and the king size bed was very comfortable. Although we were there for only one night on a business trip, we were able to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast. Very yummy! We will definitely be back! Our stay was very pleasant. Only two suggestions: breakfast should be until 10:00 am, at least Saturday and Sunday, and the pool area needs more shade for the very hot days. Thank you.

Breakfast ends too early at 9 especially on weekends- so we didnt get to enjoy it. Cleaning crew was ok they basically went to make the bed,didnt vacuum bc the sand was still there so might need to let them know also one day they didnt even go.

We've stayed here multiple times and love it! The rates are so reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. It's very clean, the rooms are spacious and the AC kept the room nice and crisp in the FL heat! The location is perfect with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. We will definitely continue to book here when we visit the Sarasota area. Thank you!

The pictures are definitely deceiving. The pool is across the parking lot shared with another hotel on the same property. The bar is no longer there nor a restaurant which is definitely false advertisement. The TV would only play regular channels and would not let you stream or anything cause it wasn’t connected to the Wi-Fi and the front desk was told and nothing changed. The ice machine was down for three days on the hottest days of the week all in all definitely was not happy with my stay oh and the beds were beyond uncomfortable didn’t sleep for my four nights I was there.
