Magnolia Pointe, BW Signature Collection

I stayed here for a Nursing class for a week in at the end of June and all was good until the las two days. There was a sports team of teenagers that checked in that were extremely loud the whole time they were there. Running up and down the halls, slamming doors, and yelling until 1 o'clock in the morning each day. I called and complained a few times and the staff stated that they informed the parents and coach however nothing changed. I had to leave a day early because a lack of sleep.

Everything in this hotel was paper thin. We had to request to be moved because our neighbors were just being in their room, but the walls were so thin, it felt like they were in our room. Also the AC was so loud.

This property is undergoing a brand change so maybe that is part of the issue. Location is great - close to the highway, the UTC, and even historic downtown and marina areas. However - the hotel is LOUD. The road traffic is almost unbearable in the middle of the night. I think the odd rooms are on the more quiet side of the hotel (maybe). Maybe some hurricane windows would help. The walls are paper thin. The AC is old and you can smell the mustiness. The fan feature of the AC doesn’t stay on even with the proper setting. The gym had a wet floor and a towel container that was so full of dirty towels, it made the gym stink. The pool is shared with another hotel so it’s not attached - you have to go across the parking lot. We did not have the breakfast but I think it’s from 6a-9a. The shower in the room was spectacular. Amazing water pressure. Got hot quick. The provided body wash smelled nice too. Maybe after the brand transition the hotel will improve on sound barriers and some AC cleaning.

This hotel is a good option for a clean room with a solid breakfast. Several restaurants are close by. The employees at check-in seem to have to divide their attention between several tasks at once, so during my two check-ins, I often had to wait a while to be greeted, even though no one else was waiting to check in. In the room, the beds were comfortable, the floor was clean, and the the shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers were full. It felt like the fans in the bathrooms were pretty weak. Make sure your air conditioning is in full blast before taking a shower, or your room will get mighty humid, even with the bathroom door closed. That said, I woukd (and have) returned.

Room was clean and check in was quick. Breakfast was great and the hotel was conveniently located near dinning and grocery stores.

Everything was good. Upsetting that you can’t really communicate with housekeeping if you don’t speak Spanish.

Overall this hotel is good value. I did find the walls a bit too thin with the adjoining doors closed, we had loud neighbors who were always talking full blast on their phones. Once we changed rooms it was much better. Very good.

Very disappointed. Overpaid for this misrepresented hotel.

Pillows could be much better.

I stayed for a few nights for a video shoot. We got the room that has the jetted tub and it was amazing overall. The only thing I will say is that the furniture in the rooms are run down a bit , and need some maintenance. The day we left the water heater had something happen so we couldn’t use the shower , the toilet or the sink which was kinda disappointing. I wasn’t even going to try and get something off for the inconvenience because not many hotels do that anymore.

The entire property was immaculate! Check in and out was very easy. The room was very clean and comfortable! I did not eat any of the breakfast, however, I did look at what was available and it looked very appetizing. Even though this hotel is a little more expensive than the one that I have stayed at across the street, I will stay here again and again.
