Nothing I booked a balcony room; however, I was given a room with only French doors and no actual balcony. Additionally, the plug sockets in the room were extremely stiff, making it impossible to charge my phone. I have photo evidence of this issue and will be requesting a refund. The breakfast was also unacceptable — it was the worst I have encountered in over ten years of traveling. There was no coffee available as the machine was faulty, and there were no staff members present in the breakfast area to assist. I even went to the reception, but no one was available there either. This experience has been deeply disappointing. I strongly urge your management to address these issues, as they reflect poorly on your establishment. I will be seeking a refund for the stay due to the false room description and poor service.

Fantastic property, we always stay here when in the area and would fully recommend. Also the restaurant is excellent.

The pool. Location of the 'hotel' was great for a night stop when travelling further down into Italy as it is fairly close to the highway. We stayed 1 night on our way to Elba. When we arrived it was a mystery how to get to the reception, as all gates were closed. The tags on the doorbell were so faded it was impossible to read. After randomly trying a bell a gate opened and we were 'greeted' by a person who did not speak a single word of english. We were shown to our room on the 1st floor while we booked a room on the ground floor. The lock of the door was very hard to open, even the owner took more than a minute to try and open the door. After this she left without any information about breakfast times, checkout etc. The same issue occured while trying to lock the door. The room was kinda spacious. The shower was moldy, and several places were just dirty with stains. Most of our towels were also dirty and in the end we shared the only clean towel we found. Bed was a 3/10. Breakfast was okay. 6/10. The pool was nice, but it was strange that the sunbeds were hidden behind a hedge. We got the feeling the 'hotel' was more of a side business next to the restaurant Elia (which was very nice).

This was an ideal place to stop for our visit to Cinque Terre and La Spezia. It's a nice hotel away from all the noise and conveniently located across a supermarket. The rooms are clean and spacious but the bathroom could be a little bit more luxurious with a simple thing as a better (rain)shower. The breakfast was simple, not many choices, the milk was not cold enough and there could have been more fresh fruit considering there is a supermarket just across the street.

Very good

Very clean, nice rooms, some of the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Good location to explore Tuscany. Well stocked supermarket next door and convenenient parking lot. Considered fresh, inexpensive products available in local stores at that time, more effort could be made during breakfast, and not enough staff to help during breakfast (1 person for both reception and breakfast). Beautiful swimming pool but limited use for family with kids (depth, hours, sun beds).

Great position for travelling through. Had a S’Market opposite, the car park is secure and the restaurant is excellent with very pleasant staff. We had thick steak slices cooked ourselves on a hot griddle which was excellent. Nothing.

Loved the pool area, the garden with loungers to relax, and the fact we had two ground floor apartments for my elderly mum with an easy and short walk to the pool and garden and restaurant. Probably about 1/2 minutes. Enjoyed the calm atmosphere of the place through the day and the buzz in the restaurant in the evening. The food was absolutely delicious and service excellent. We found it a wee bit difficult to find because there was no sign out onto the road. It was at the side. Also, we made the mistake of going up to the old village of Fosdinovo but it isn’t there. If you are looking to be in an old village in the hills of Fosdinovo it isn’t that but we had absolutely no complaints.

Close to a good grocery store. It’s in a really weird location. Too simple breakfast buffet. Small pool in the middle of the restaurant.

A pure wifi connection!

The Hotel la Pietra is situated down a side road away from the main roads and therefore is in a very quiet location. Free secure car parking is a nice bonus. The room was a reasonable size and it had a balcony where you could sit outside and enjoy the sun. The bedroom offered all the usual facilities including a fridge. The bathroom was a reasonable size, clean, well stocked and well maintained. The hotel offers a lovely swimming pool and also sun loungers if you wanted to use them. We had a meal in the restaurant which was plentiful in portion size and tasty. Very good value for money. Breakfast was a self serve buffet with plenty of fresh items available. There is also a really lovely friendly cat that wonders around. All in all we had a very pleasant stay, thank you We had a little difficulty locating the entrance at first, but think it was more our fault than the hotel

We had a room ved a little garden. The restaurent was really good. A nice pool and relaxing area. Privat free parking. Everything was clean and nice, the staff was very friendly. The internet was poor.

Friendly staff and spacious rooms. Bed was comfortable and food at the restaurant was amazing. Breakfast was very basic and it lacked the same quality of the restaurant. Location was a bit far from everything but nice in the countryside.
