The location was perfect, the staff was very kind, and the room was lovely’

Good location! Convenient parking also a plus. Rooms are very tired. Wallpaper torn, furnishings chipped and worn. And NO USABLE OUTLETS IN THE ROOM! I was left charging my phone in the bathroom and unplugging the TV for my laptop.

Water pressure in shower was very weak, and the bathroom door was difficult to open and close. Air conditioning was adequate but noisy.

There is nothing special that I would like to mention about the hotel. It was not what I expected also according to the reviews which were definitely too kind. I am not giving a very bad mark only because the reception staff was nice. I'll start with the room. It was run-down and in need of some cleaning and remodeling. No electric sockets available and the furniture needs some renewal or some cleaning (see pictures). No kettle inside the room either. What shocked me the most was breakfast: I can't believe they make you pay for that. It was just some frozen croissants, some salami and that is it. No eggs or nothing special. Some biscotti which were taken out of the bag and put on a bowl for all to touch. Very unsanitary and very disappointing as a paid breakfast

The hotel has an excellent location right in the city center, with the convenience of an on-site parking garage. My room was very quiet and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I also really liked the vintage decor — it gives the place a unique charm. Overall, a great value for money and a pleasant stay in Sassari. N/A

Breakfast. Selection was poor. Personnel felt very proud but did not supply any food. 9:00 there were no cheese, ham, water, juice, croissants, etc.

The hotel is in a good location if you are able to walk about and parking was under the hotel so easily accessible . We were really disappointed that I had booked this hotel because it advertised a bar in the building . My husband has mobility issues and the staff just referred us out of the building to a bar up the road . There was a bar nearby but as I explained we had chosen to pay extra to stay in a hotel with facilities rather than an air b and b which would have been only 45euros per night .the hotel was near enough empty but we were put in a grubby ,outdated, tried room ,that was the furthest point from reception which added to our mobility issues . We did not find the staff very friendly and helpful . I asked for some hot water to make a cup of tea in the evening and was told to go out of the hotel to the bar up the street !! We had 60 euros stolen from a coat that was hanging up in the room when we went down for breakfast . The shower in the bedroom had mould on the walls and the door didn’t close properly on the bathroom as it scrapped across the floor and was really noisy going into bathroom in the night . It was really difficult to operate the light switches as they were so stiff and difficult to find in the dark. When we went to check out and they tried to over charge us even though we could see the correct amount on the screen which was what we had expected .we drew their attention to it so they agreed on the correct amount . I dread to think what would have happened if we had not questioned the amount . They seemed very happy to see us go and it felt like we were a nuisance . I would normally have asked to change the room but their attitude was quite dispondant and made me feel complaining would only aggravate the situation and make our stay even more uncomfortable .

Great location. Easy on site car parking Dark drab rooms Air con didn’t work in the room Plumbing from toilet noisy Noisy room Dull continental breakfast The hotel seemed empty of other guests Bar permanently closed

I like the friendly staff. The location: it is walking distance to the historic part of the city. Yet, it was quiet at night in the room.

Exceptional

The furnishings are very dated, the towels have brown spots, the shower base was dusty and had some hair. The breakfast is not great, the cappuccino is good but the croissants probably frozen
-
The hotel is renewed but it has a vintage style and atmosphere that I liked a lot. Everything in the room remembers old style hotels, probably from the ‘50s or earlier what I found very cozy. Bed was very comfortable, the bathroom very good although more essential than modern ones. Staff was incredibly kind and familiar, breakfast good Breakfast is the Italian one, with less opportunities for a continental one

Location is fantastic, staff trained and well behaved. Lift seemed quite unbalanced and jerky. Noice from opening and closing doors of neighbours might disturb your sleep.
