Hotel La Font de Lauro

The hotel was good and met our expectations. The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly, and everything we needed was available. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would consider staying here again.

Rien à part la véranda pour le petit déjeuner qui est très jolie. Toutefois, j'avais réservé pour 4 nuits et suis partie après une nuit pour un autre hôtel et n'ai pas dû payer les 3 nuits restantes. Tout... Une catastrophe : comment peut-on appeler un tel établissement "hôtel". Accueil désastreux, bâtiment et chambres vétustes. Salle de bain minuscule. Quasiment pas de lumière. Couloir ressemblant plus à une prison ou un monastère austère. Il faut traverser le parking en terre et cailloux pour se rendre à la piscine. Tout est bancal et surtout aucun entretien. Même pas une bouteille d'eau (par 38°) : un distributeur où les bouteilles d'eau étaient manquantes! Un conseil : retirer cet "hôtel" de votre site!

The hotel is located in a beautiful place and surroundings, however, you need a car to get there, it’s not easy accessible by public transport. The pool was really nice, the staff incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was offered separately, but delicious and great value! Great shower and clean room. The property could be better well maintained, everything seemed pretty old. However, everything was clean. Great value for what we paid.

Breakfast was perfect. Ambiance lovely. All good.

It was far more remote than I anticipated

Pool hours were early. Air conditioning would have put it over the top!

Pool Nothing! Not a place for kids at all, hazardous I definitely say. Reception closes at 7pm and food not available. Outdated is an understatement. Absolutely no plug and had to run van from main room to bathroom with wire crossing hallway and my little 2 year fell and bumped her head.

Only because it was close to the wedding celebration of a close friend ? The lady that “received” us was very unpleasant. We arrived at 13:30 even we knew that checking was written to be at 15:00…but as we had to be present to a wedding ceremony at 16:00 we only asked to be able to bring our suitcases in the lobby so we can prepare ourselves for the ceremony…but the lady repeated that it was impossible!? At last she made an effort to prepare the room at 15:00… The room has no electric plug nor a circuit button near the bed to turn of the light while in bed. Shower to small. We felt that the hotel management was more concerned for the cleaning staff than for their customers… We received the room at 14:00-15:00 but had to leave the room at 10:30, it means that we payed for a room for less than a day of 24 hours!?

Good swimming pool, with poorly unmaintained bar We had a room, one of the two not renovated yet, with moquette, a shower with door opening directly on moquette. Please don't turn on the fan: kilos of dust will attack you. Try to do not come back to the hotel too late in the evening or you will not have parking available due to poorly parked cars.

Very friendly proprietor who good advice about the area. The room was very clean and comfortable. Pets were allowed so our little dog stayed in the room with us. Nice continental breakfast. With a car it was close to places we wanted to go and see such as the Abbey of Sénanque, the Museum of Lavender and Gordes. The room was a little hot at night in summer.
