Area around the property was run down with a scary vacant lot with a huge dumpster outside the side entrance. The staff was pleasant and helpful, but the hotel is showing a lot of wear. Our room had a stained shower, leaky toilet, a sink with no real water pressure and an old, loud and stained AC unit. The breakfast was ok, but we have had much better stays in other Hampton inns. We will not choose to stay at this location again when we drive to Florida next summer.

the property was excellent, but had a problem with the elevator, my family and I had to climb 5 flights of stairs. we have a special need son and I am 80 yo not good for me.

The room was as clean as the housekeeper could attempt to make it, but the boxspring had mystery stains. The pull down curtains were shredding and the tiles were discolored.The half of the carpeted space felt as if the carpet had a film on it. The tub had odd stains in it and there appeared to be no central air in the hallways so it was unpleasantly warm and very musty- like an old uncleaned carpet smell. The worst part was coming off the elevator to the 6th floor right at checking to be greeted by a massive live cockroach running across the gray tile.Positive notes- The staff were very kind and the bed sheets were crisp and clean. The parking lot was well lit. I just don't think I would plan on staying here again. The Hotel itself is desperately in need of an industrial cleaning aside from the housekeeping and general maintenance and needs a major revamp to the dining/ breakfast area( seats falling apart or sinking in).
