Perfect blend of historical and modern. Beautiful rooms, delicious foods, views ! We picked the perfect place to stay for Savannah!

This was one of my families favorite places to stay in all of our travels! The location is perfect. You can watch the river “traffic” from your room (get the river view room, it’s so worth it). You can walk to any shops, restaurants or bars. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The whole hotel is beautiful and well kept. Stay here, you won’t regret it

What was unique was there was some paranormal activity. You can hear the carts all through the night and the room we stayed in 318 while sleeping our bed was thumping from under the bed felt like someone was kicking our backs. Knocking and running of little kids at 3am. Very adventurous and thrilling

The afternoon guest reception hors d’oeuvres and drinks were delicious. It was fun. You had to meet a lot of the guests hospitality was number one at the hotel. Definitely recommend

Nice would come back clean

Loved the historic hotel. It was beautiful. We had river view room and it was fun watching the ships go by. The beds were comfortable. The only thing was a musty smell but it’s June and super humid so we understand. Location was perfect for us. We walked everywhere. The one excursion we went on they picked us up at the hotel. For breakfast, we grabbed food at Cafe Ms. would stay here again .

It was the best place I’ve stayed in Savannah; I will be back! Perfect location.

Loved the location and easy check in

The staff at the front desk and the valet's were great. The hotel looks very nice, however, the room had a lot of mildew in the AC and condensation which over the 3 night stay resulted in a moderate leak from the AC vent. The maintenance crew came and opened the vent and at least 2-3 gallons of water poured onto the floor. He wiped up the water and closed it back. The humidity in the room was very high. The shower was dirty and I asked 3 times for it to be cleaned and bleached but nothing was done. We stayed in room 501. We also found out through staff that the hotel was the most haunted hotel in the city. I won't be back.

Great clean and confortable

Our room smelled like mold, and our socks were actually black from walking on the carpet. Bathtub did not have handrails for safety and mold in the corners. Large cockroach dead in back of toilet. Told them about it the first night and was informed they had no other rooms available. When I looked on their website, it said they did have rooms. The staff was absolutely wonderful. From the time we got there until we left I can’t say enough about everyone we came in contact with. The food choices were excellent. I did receive a voucher for a one night. Stay when I go back there! One night after a week! At least they could’ve offered free parking that was $52 a night. The hotel itself is lovely, but our room was absolutely horrible. The windows were so filthy. Also, you could not see out of them. The location is amazing and an easy walk to almost any place you want to go.

Great location and friendly staff.
-
No breakfast for the price and I did not care for the mandatory fee for popcorn as a refreshment.
-
Great location, very walkable area
-
Nice views from room. A bit noisy. Children stomping up and down the hallways late at night. shower amenities hard to use. pumps don't work well. We enjoyed our stay.
-
Friendly staff, excellent location, beautifully restored old building. Perfect in every way
-
Location great to River Street. Staff very friendly! Room could use a little touch up.

Loved the atmosphere, history, amenities, room, location & walkability, & restaurants on site! Amazing place to stay while in Savannah.

It’s a very old building which adds to the charm. The room needs a good cleaning especially the bathroom. Shower head is old and crusty. Floor grout is kind of gross. Was supposed to have a king sized bed but they put us in a two double room which was kind of disappointing. Bed was comfy but the poster beds blocked the tv view which was weird. Restaurants were good and the speakeasy was nice with friendly staff and good drinks. Great location on the river. After all the extra charges, it was probably a little overpriced. That being said, we had a great visit and we enjoyed the stay and the area but I think this is closer to a 3.5 star hotel.

And I was told that I was getting a room on fourth floor than they give a room on third floor
