Hotel Restaurant des Deux Rocs
About Hotel Restaurant des Deux Rocs
In the heart of this beautiful Var region with its mild climate, imagine the village of Seillans clinging to a fragrant hill... At its heart, a beautiful country house on a shady square where a fountain sings: the Hôtel des Deux Rocs... Come in, Julie and Nicolas Malzac invite you to share their family home and sample the thousand and one pleasures of Provence... Nestling in the upper part of the medieval village of Seillans, opposite the famous Deux Rocs, the house is a former mansion built in the 17th century. Located on the square lined with majestic plane trees, around the Amont fountain, this bastide is in keeping with the authentic character of the village houses. Breakfast wasn't available until 8:30 so too late. The dinner at their restaurant was good and the only enjoyable aspect The room was poor with no useful facilities. Breakfast not available at a sensible time

Great restaurant with excellent midday and evening menus. Great chef. Plentiful continental breakfast. The hotel is in an excellent location within a few minutes walk of the centre of the village. All the staff very helpful and polite. The building is old and the decor and room furniture, 'antique', reflects this. Although the room was large it could have benefitted from more comfortable seats. Twin beds were comfortable and warm but pillow extremely hard. Toilet cistern handle broken/missing (but functional).

The room was incredibly hot and very uncomfortable. Hotel is in need of renovation, it's very dated and needs capital expenditure. Overall attitude at the reception was neither overly friendly nor co-operative.

Beautiful location fantastic breakfast friendly staff, very historical Rooms are tiny, bed very hard and uncomfortable. Wasn’t clear how old fashioned this would be when booking! When we checked in on a Sunday there were no staff around and just keys on a table which was frustrating.

This a characterful, traditional hotel which has preserved its past and is charmingly individual. It is situated in a delightful square and dinner and breakfast is served under the shade of trees. There is plenty of free parking nearby. The breakfast could have been more varied

The hotel is absolutely charming. Set in this wonderful little village right on a square with a fountain and Plane trees. The owners are passionate about their place and it shows in everything about the hotel. The staff and owners were super nice, speaking English and helping with everything. The restaurant is exquisite! The girl who waited on us was amazing, the whole team really hustled and were always polite and smiling. The food was to die for with a nice selection of reasonably priced wines. Sitting under the trees in the square and enjoying this delicious food was a dream. The rooms are not air conditioned but are cool even when the temperature was over 30 C. Don’t forget to buy some of their lavender soap when you leave ?? Overall the most magnificent stay and we are looking forward to returning ☺️ Nothing

Lovely hotel in a great location. So nice to find a place with character that hasn't been screwed up by 'modernisation'. Friendly owners and staff with a quirky but brilliant restaurant. Right in the village within walking distance of everything.
