I liked how quiet it was despite being above a bar there was no noise. The bed was comfortable and all the staff were really friendly. Especially the guy that checked me in. It is close enough to all local attractions. I would stay here again in the future.

Loved the pub part and the staff were so sweet, looking after my cheese! Good price and comfy beds. Was a bit run down and smelled of smoke. Next to a busy road and no fan in summer, so window open, loud. Could do with short cut directions from the station, ie through the park, as we walked miles to get there by road.

Friendly staff The place is so run down. There’s a bad smell within the bar area. Some of the people using the bar were rude and insulting. I reported this but was told nothing could be done. The price of our stay reflects the place as it was cheap for our two nights. The room we stayed in was ok but curtains were hanging off and net curtains were ripped. Bed was uncomfortable. So I’m afraid I would not be using again. Again staff were helpful but the overall stay and establishment was a let down.

Clean, comfortable, roomy, kind staff. I’ll be staying here again! It was all great.

Loose & rusty towel holder. Dirty & rusty bathroom radiator. Could do with new flooring in bathroom. Shower not very good. Kettle dangerous location. TV remote did not work.

Our apartment was clean and spacious. Rhys was super helpful. The bedroom would benefit from darker curtains or a blackout blind

Unfortunately my husband had a serious accident on the Wednesday night and fell down some steps that were unlit and he had a serious head injury that he is still in York hospital now so we only staying in the flat one night. Still trying to sort out my husband who has had 46 stitches the staff on duty did not know where the lights were so ambulance crew had to work in the dark in a hole. Not a good experience at all. Difficulty getting breakfast basket first morning. Fortunately Morrisons just around the corner so went and bought something.

The locals and the staff were lovely people. The shower ran freezing cold or hot enough to cook pasta. It took several attempts and 30 minutes to get the right temperature. The flat sheet on the bed had red blood stains on it.

I liked everything about my time in Scarborough. Very friendly atmosphere. Plenty of variety in food and bars. And also beautiful scenery all around. Winning the lottery and being able to stay longer.

Staff very helpful. The place smelled of BO, the room was very old very tired and dirty, mould a plenty in bathroom. Rack for coat hangers hanging off the wall, mattresses very lumpy and uncomfortable.
