Fantastic hotel. Lovely inside and facilities ( Pool, sauna etc ) was a major reason for booking. To note though we didn’t see in description when booking it’s a naturist only use of sauna/Steam which was a bit of a surprise. This should be made clearer when viewing to book. Some people are not used to this and can be a little embarrassing. We only learned this on the morning of arrival when looking at others reviews! Aside from that. Lovely staff, great food and all round a great stay. Would stay again for the overall experience One thing disappointing me was that whenever I book rooms when away, I book a double bed, I’m used a double and am happy to pay the extra in order to get a double however here I was disappointed to find that while I had a double bed they’d only given me a single small duvet. I fail to see the point in this. Annoying

I really like the location of this hotel. I was able to go on a run and see some views and the neighborhood. the room itself was great, very clean and relaxing. There was a great view from the window. Breakfast was great. The spa seemed lovely but unfortunately we were unable to use it. The room was a bit warm. I had emailed for a reservation to the restaurant which the hotel confirmed but when we went to eat dinner they could not find the reservation. They were able to seat us anyway but it was in a different part of the restaurant, closed off from other guests.

Pleasant and frendly stuff, always smiling ? The warm design of the room, the carpets, the mirrors, and the shower are just lovely.

Relaxed environment, not too far from cities still steps away from nature and history The type if bed they had was not best for me ( good for certain spine conditions)

Hotel is located on a hillside in a lovely German small town in the Black Forest region. I loved the family atmosphere. Room was large. Very nice pool. Breakfast was included. Nothing to add

Well equipped hotel with inside swimming pool on a very quiet location. Large rooms, very clean. Helpful people. Acceptable dinner and excellent breakfast. A pure 10. Come to think of it, a minibar in the room could be added.

Friendly family return hotel with nice spa, restaurant and grounds. That my schedule meant it wasn't possible to stay longer.

Beautiful inside out ♥️ The staff is dedicated and kind, the food delicious, the spa excellent with a large swimming pool. The room was perfect and everything was spotless. I applaud the cleaning staff because there is a lot of ground to cover and the cleanliness was truly exceptional. If I may suggest, it would be great to offer a dinner basket for guests who stay on Sunday nights and do not want to leave the hotel (the restaurant is closed). I was a bit surprised that there was no jacuzzi, but then I found a very strong jet in the swimming pool and I was happy!

Great location on hills above Rhein valley, very quiet and relaxing area nearby to Basel, Lorach, Rheinfelden. Family style hotel with perfect wellness facility and indoor swinmming pool, very good kitchen and nice and big open terrace with very nice view to Black Forrest. Roms are spay and renovated, most of them with balcony, best are on main buildings with Black Forrest view. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and dinners, easy parking, nice starting point for bikers, very reasonable price compare to Swiss side of Rhein for exploring Basel and other Swiss cities nearby. And very nice coach museum on site, not so much promoted :-).

The hotel is located in a village area on a hill and has a superb views. The sauna area is brilliant as well! Overal feeling is like at home or coming home to old friends! There is always a way to improve, keep on going to do a great job! I have none to my mind so far.
