With over 100 hectares of sports and leisure facilities, Athena Resort is set in an unspoiled nature reserve 16 mi from Ragusa. It includes a private beach, 3 swimming pools, and air-conditioned rooms. With a balcony or patio, rooms at the Athena have a private entrance, a TV, and a mini-bar. This is our 2nd time and it was fantastic. The food was typical sicilian and was amazing, accommodation did the job The pools and entertainment was fantastic, Brilliant short stay and would definitely return and would recommend this resort to anyone. the only thing was that I was trying to rebook for 3/4 days so I could add an extra person and they removed anything less than 1 week from booking.com.

The place is very nice and has good amenities and food was good as you chose from 3 restaurants.pools are nice and clean, room was clean and staff is very helpful. We were left with no electricity for 5 hrs and had to wait long for someone to come fix the problem.

Entertainment.clean rooms.food good. Fish and pizza restaurants closed. Beach restaurant closed. They told us that they had just closed them whilst the resort was still very busy pity

the location was great, the food was excellent, typical Sicilian food and lots of it the entertainment was fantastic, from aqua gym to other type of sports, the evening entertainment was great for children and adults. we asked for a room close buy as my mother has limited walking ability and was accommodated. lots of parking space even outside our accommodation and could even drive around the site to the main pool. the staff made you feel like a family, due to my mother in laws limited walking ability we were even allowed to sit close to the restaurant, happy days. we were even allowed to use the facilities even before our check in time. definitely go back next year
