Beautiful quiet location on the seafront. Wonderful welcome from Niko with a very special breakfast. No name outside the property made it a bit tricky to find.

10 meters from the pebble beach (during our stay we saw only one sea urchin). Spacious and tidy. The kitchen may be a little cramped, but perfectly enough for a few days stay. Overall very comfortable stay for a family of four. The host communicated easily in english. Free parking on the beach just by apartment. The AC had some whining sound (it should be replaced or oiled somehow). Bathroom has almost no ventilation so you have to take towels outside to dry. It may not be the best apartment in town, but it's well worth it. No regerts :-)

Literally 10 steps from the sea, excellent location. The host, Bozko is very friendly and helpful, he chats with the guests and makes sure everything is perfect for the guest. His wife made excellent breakfast every morning, even pancakes or whatever we wanted, we can eat on the terrace overlooking the sea. Everything was so delicious and big variety, we could even skip lunch. Air-conditioning in the room, comfortable bed, fridge. Nice balcony with beautiful sea view and seating area. Ice-cream shop downstairs. Storing place for SUP.I highly recommed this place and would definitely return. Restaurants and shop closeby.

The hosts were amazing. They were really nice, every morning the lady preapered some nice meal, either cake or some salty pastries. Everything were very delicious. Everything were fine.

Location really is great: right at the beach. Can't be any closer :) Shop, gelateria, restaurant etc nearby. Host is really nice and friendly. (Also his English could be improved, but he speaks Italian too). If you need anything, have a question, ask the owner, he is more than happy to help, always. There is fridge in the room, and a kettle and cups but this is the first place where no teabags or nescafe or not anything given with the kettle. There is air condition which is good, because you can't get fresh air to the room through on the only small balcony door: even when it was wild wind outside, we opened the small balcony door (no window in the room) and no fresh air came to the room. But it was 36 degrees when we stayed there, so yes, to have aircondition is super. There is a drier on the balcony for wet clothes, it's useful. Breakfast is AT 9. Only one, fix time. Breakfast is good and enough to keep you through the day. They make you eggs the way you want. There are delicious home made cakes too. Breakfast is at the downstairs terrace, view to the sea. Bed mattresses are hard and pillows are big. You can ask for beach beds which is great at the rocky beach. (Gratis for guests) Free parking on the street. Paklenica National Park is nearby, so there is a nice view to the hills. They don't clean your room every day and I am grateful for that: I hate when someone comes to my room without asking so Iiked that here. Our room (no 5) is much smaller as the others we see on the photos. Later I found this room in booking.com gallery: it is on photos number 27-29 (at current listing). The bathroom is tiny and has no any space to put anything, no shelf, box, nothing, had to keep all my bathroom staff in the cupboard of the main room. We stayed 4 nights, if it was only 1 night, maybe it is ok. There is not even toiletpaper holder, we kept it at the top of the waste bin... The bathroom has no any ventillation, no window, no anything so after a shower all the hot steam comes to the room. (But luckily no mold) No bedside tables to keep things within your reach (glasses, book, anything). The cupboard has no shelves, only hangers and 2 drawers at rhe bottom. No window for the room, only the small, narrow balcony door at the backside of the room (not central), which was extremely hard to close (could be old, and stucked - the owner knows it). Also, we booked a room with seaview (I think it's the only room, the others have real seaview), but room number 5 is at the back side of the house, it has a long but narrow balcony and at the end of the balcony you get the seaview. So if you are in your room you don't see the sea, just if you walk to the end of the long balcony. The walls are thin. The door is very simple and the room key and the lock is very basic (or we could say: old style...) The description on booking.com says it has a garden. It has not. Altogether if you want a place right at the beach, it is perfect for that, best beach location and good breakfast.

The room was perfect for Us, simple but clean, with nice terrace and air conditioner. I have never been so close to the beach (15 meter), it's very comfortable, if You need anything You just pop into Your room. There are sunbeds for free. The hosts are very friendly. The breakfast is simple but delicious. The area is calm, perfect place to rest. You can find 3-4 restaurants nearby, Our favourite was Gostionica Podgorje.

The location was fantastic, right opposite a small cove, perfect for a morning dip before breakfast. Beautiful views across the bay from our balcony and we weren't expecting the mountains to be so close. Beds were very comfortable, so had three restful night's sleeps. Free public parking was available right outside, which felt very safe. Our host and hostess were so very friendly and welcoming, they did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a good range of choice to suit all tastes, with different special local Croatian options every morning. My friend and I would highly recommend Apartment Niko to others and we hope yo return. The property doesn't have a Niko sign outside so was a little hard to identify but we just asked in the icecream shop.

The house is 5 m from the sea. We liked the fantastic wiew to the Velebit mountains and the islands. The home made breakfasts were super, tasty and made with love. The owner and his wife are very kind people, like friends. The ice cream shop was too close ?

Our stay here was wonderful. The apartment was prepared even sooner than was agreed. Hosts are very nice people. Beach is just few steps from the apartment. Several restaurants available nearby, groceries shops too and small bakery with tasteful breads, donuts and other delicious pastries.

wonderful place to relax

The biggest advantage of this place is it's location and a very nice host. Niko is located just by the sea - when you wake up, there is a view of the sea through the room's window. Then you can eat breakfast at the porch by the sea. Very good place for relaxing. There is not much to do in that city, but this could also be an advantage if you're intoo relaxing by the sea :)

Only big plus was the view and location - next to the sea. Cramped room with furniture, awkward bathroom - small space and weird shower. Got cold at the night and only in the morning saw that the blanked which we took from the wardrobe was stained and mouldy. Need more maintenance cause of humidity damages.
