Quiet, large grounds. Feels like you are unwinding at your own country estate. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Large room, great view, very comfortable bed, plenty of closet space. Nice point from which to start hikes.

The views were fantastic and it was so quiet and peaceful the perfect romantic get away for my birthday and our 14th wedding anniversary. Guy was a fabulous host and was very helpful with local knowledge of the area. We walked around the grounds and used it as a base for days out but it was always a real treat to come back to at night. The breakfast was amazing and they were very accommodating about my need for a coeliac option. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom the perfect size. Would highly recommend. It was perfect in every way which made it a real treat to stay there and somewhere we had not been before.

The property is beautiful inside and out. Our room was so comfortable and we had the most amazing view over the bay across to Porlock Weir. For information, our room did have its own private bathroom but it wasn’t en-suite, the bathroom was across the corridor, however, it wasn’t really a problem. The owner is very helpful and has thought of every little detail. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent and made to order. We felt really spoiled staying here.
