The location.. we can walk to Lawang Sewu. The room is big and comfy The view is blocked by another building, some properties are a little outdated. The pool are too small

Location is perfect close to shopping centre and the breakfast is excelent as well. Parking is quite limited

Location great. Staff friendly and responsive. Pool nice. Room layout nice. This room had good A/C although my previous stay did not. Shower head old design, shower head support kept slipping down the pipe. Tub too small, hard to keep balance during shower. Needs remodeling and add rain shower head option. I enjoy Novotel Yogyakarta and I expected more from the Novotel brand.

Lobby decor nice. Bed size nice. Clean. Location good for my needs. A/C not functioning. I waited awhile to see if it improves, it didn’t, so I called front desk. They sent mechanic who worked on it and told me to wait 30 mins . It was very slow to descend below 25° C. Finally it was good enough to sleep. Shower head kept slipping down the metal pole, difficult to have a hands-free shower. This was a Standard room. I recommend booking larger room with a full size couch for extra room to move around. This room felt small.

Nothing Location is strategic in the city center Bed and bathroom already old style, towel and bed linen color grayish/ yellowish, is so filthy... BF menu is very bad, limited food choice and tasteless, all fruit are not fresh

Overall, it was not bad, quite an old hotel but maintained well. My room wasn't that clean though, there was a stain on my bed sheet, tables/surfaces were not wiped down properly.

Old hotel with a bit dirty old floor

Good location with a mall nearby and 5-10 min drive to Old Town Semarang - The entire hotel reeked of cigarettes, even on non-smoking floors. This includes the lobby, the halls, and even my bedroom and bed linen. - Cleanliness is barely passable: old towels with brown spots, dusty table tops. - Key cards failed to work every other day, and had to be reset with the concierge. - Unresponsive staff: No one picked up when I dialled for room service / front desk at 8-9am. Tried for a couple of mornings, then gave up. If you expect any sort of good service this is not it. - Considering the above, the price paid of SGD 85 / night was v poor.
