RedDoorz near Taman Rejomulyo

It was good location, clean, function, excellent bed and pillows, aircon 1st class. All good. Nothing really , was a comfortable stay. Staff shy but very friendly.

Price was affordable, especially those who are looking for a quick transit or rest before continuing the rest of the journey. Location is easy to find using goggle map. Parking was not too bad and can still park in the surrounding area. Area look quite safe too. We checked in around 2 AM, apparently there was no one in the reception. We rang the bell in the reception, no one came. After a while we found the staff was sleeping in the room next to the front office, so we woke him up. He did not look happy but he proceeded with the check in. No smile, no greet, no thank you after passing the room keys. Room, bathroom and bed sheet cleanliness need a HUGE attention. I have been to several budget transit hotel but this one took me by surprise.

A hotel made with containers is a nice concept. This place was the most dirty I ever booked in my life. The white bed linnen was completely brown and full with stains and hair, same with the towels. Sink was leeking big time and made the floor completely wet in seconds. All surfaces where sticky and dirty. There was even still rice on the floor. They gave me another room and it was really dirty aswell. Looks like the rooms are not cleaned properly at all. I left this place and booked another hotel.

The unique of the property. The staff should be ready with proper attire during customer check out. The room not so clean. The pillow so thin. We did not get extra pillow when requested. At least give some goodies bag such as banana+bun as free breakfast.

Place was fairly clean, smart tv which was a nice suprise and aircon was fine Not the most soundproof place, cause its a container I guess, and they asked for my passport as deposit which made check out a bit annoying cause we had to wake someone up but it workes fine

Firstly, it's a budget accommodation. Don't expect this place to have a Ritz-Carlton service and facilities. We stayed here before we drove to Surabaya. It's a unique experience. We never stayed in an container accommodation (or slept in any kind of container basically lol) before ?. Checked in process was fast. We were asked if we wanted to leave our ID or 50K for deposit. Moving to the room, it's a spacious accommodation with study desk and 2 doors wardrobe. I asked for 1st floor room as there's no elevator. Room was facing the parking lot but don't worry, the window was heavily tinted so ppl from outside can't see inside clearly. At night, you might want to close the drapes. Bed was alright and bathroom was a bit narrow (or it's just me who's a bit wider than most ppl lol). Oh also, smart TV! We can watch YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon Prime here! Water heater was working properly and it's set up on each room so we didn't need to wait for the hot water. AC was cold but took time to cool the whole room. It's located in an housing complex so basically little to no traffic there but only a few mins walk to plenty of restaurants just outside the complex. There were an angkringan and pecel stand across the accommodation but they weren't open 24/7. Overall, service was great and room was above my expectations (for the price that we paid) ?
