Love this place. Have stayed here 3 different times now. Nice rooms, good shower, super comfortable bed, perfect location right in between the beach and the main street for restaurants and entertainment. Beach and all those restaurants are a 5 in walk away. Party street is a 10 min walk away. Market for water and anything else is right next door.

For a cheap night's stay this hotel was fine enough. The room itself was clean, the bed was comfortable and the aircon was cold. I checked in at 6pm and left the next morning at 7am so it was perfect for $48 AUD. I didn't even bother to shower, it smelt like cheese (must be the mold and mildew - it was so bad that I just kept the door to the shower closed the whole time). No key for the safe and no instructions on how to use it. Girls beware, the owner of the hotel likes to sit on the balcony of the above restaurant and yell at you from the street - I asked the staff if this was normal and they assured me he was harmless but it didn't feel great being harassed by an older man when you're staying at his hotel, alone.

A bit difficult to find down some small lanes but quiet and close to beach and good shops and restaurants. Often unstaffed. Strange room configuration with bathroom and toilet in entrance area. Hot water not working well.

Room was large with a good sized balcony. Staff were helpful. Room was not like the pictures. It didn’t feel very clean. The pool was more like a pond. There was a lot of construction happening nearby with poor sound insulation.
